If I could give this experience 6 stars, I would. Andy's tour of the Isle of Skye was the highlight of our time in Scotland. We would not have had been able to experience the Highlands to the extent we did without his expertise. From fairy pools to distilleries and Highland cows, this was a 10/10!

We had the absolute pleasure of touring Island of Skye with Roger and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we set off, it was clear we were in expert hands. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights into Scotland’s rich history, culture, and landscapes-stories that brought every castle, loch, and glen to life. "School every day."
What really stood out, though, was his flexibility with the weather and shifting our agenda to adjust. He knew all the stops for pictures, hidden gems  It made the entire experience feel personalized and relaxed.
On top of that, Roger had a sharp wit and a great sense of humor, keeping us entertained with clever anecdotes and light-hearted banter along the way. And yes-the rumors are true-Roger can sing! amd knows all the best singers.
We can’t recommend Roger enough. If you're lucky enough to travel with him, you're in for a truly special Scottish experience.

Andrew and Highland Discovery Tours are simply the best!!! Book them to relax and get inside depth knowledge and experiences of the Highlands. And they make it fun! Our time with Andrew was the highlight of our trip. We even saw this Loch Ness Monster with Andrew’s creative help!!! And the Hogwarts train too.

Our unique Isle of Skye tour was amazing! Our guide and driver, Jim, is an exceptional tour guide and a person with a great sense of humor while sharing an authentic side that gives a glimpse into his daily life. We enjoyed Jim and appreciated his kindness. His Range Rover is extremely comfortable, too. Jim toured us to all the sights we wanted to see. He tried very hard to get us close to the Highland cattle even when it was unavailable (he tried four times!). He also treated us well and bought us snacks, water and carrots for the Highland cows.
We would highly recommend Jim as your tour guide and we would definitely book a tour with your company again!

Our Isle of Skye trip with Andy was the highlight of our trip. He knew so much about the history and the setting and could answer all the random questions we threw at him. We had considered renting a car and doing everything ourselves, and we unanimously agreed that hiring a guide for Isle of Skye was the best decision we could have ever made. He even worked the schedule with the random weather so we could see the most without being rained on. Worth every penny and would recommend to literally everybody. We also appreciated how flexible he was. He adjusted the schedule to be exactly what we wanted.

I cant even Imagine trying to do the Isle of Sky by bus tour or trying to drive it myself . after two days of left side - and tiny road struggles we called Highland discovery Tours and booked them for a one day private tour . Andy picked us up in Plokton (sp?) he usually picks up from Inverness but was flexible . he knows the right way to get around and avoid the back ups made us feel comfortable and valued all day . Total professional he adds some very special touches to the experience and has a ton of background information . I think we spend day three of our 12 day trip with Andy but the info he gave us was still helping us on day 12 . The Isle of sky is amazing and breathtaking but the roads are difficult and bit dangerous we saw multiple people who's vacations were not going very well because of mishaps on the sides of the road . Hiring Andy took all that stress out of my hands and allowed me to enjoy the day in a way I would not have other wise ! buy the end I felt like Andy was a friend and we had dinner together at one of his fav take away fish and chips places ! Thanks Andy - for the best day of our vaca - we are still talking about you !!!

Andy is absolutely wonderful! I came to Scotland in early January 2023, and his tour was certainly the highlight of my trip. He is incredibly responsive, fair in pricing, and accommodating. In fact, you really can’t beat his pricing for a one-on-one private tour, including pick-up and drop-off!

My travel had delays which affected my initial time/day I booked with Highland Discovery. Andy was incredibly kind and understanding when I asked if we could reschedule to the following day (we did have winter on our side, but I firmly believe Andy would do what he could to help accommodate anyone!).

I appreciate so much Andy coming out to Whitebridge (which is pretty remote with lots of single-track roads) to pick me up early in the morning, to make the most of sunlight hours. He was so informative about everything! On time, reliable, and so friendly!

He truly made sure I had an amazing time and accomplished all I had hoped to, and he goes above and beyond - taking amazing photos and videos of/for me and even making a stop at the grocery so I could pick up a few things! Andy even helped me make a list of things to see and in what order on the next leg of my journey to Isle of Skye - and offered his help if I needed it (as a winter storm was coming). He really puts his heart and everything into what it does, and it doesn’t go unnoticed - thank you Andy!

I know there are a lot of options for guides in the area, but I promise, you will be so happy you booked with Andy! By the end of the tour, he felt like an old friend! I will definitely book again when I come back!
