Visited the place a few years ago, I was cycling from Glasgow to John o' Groats and a beautiful book cover called my attention from the outside. Got in, and the experience could not be better, the gentleman, I presume the owner, was very nice. We had a chat about books and folklore for a while, I purchased the book and, to this day, it continues in my bookshelf here in Spain.

I’ve dreamt of a place like this for years & finally found this hidden treasure of a place that contains a genuine goldmine of the written word.
Bill the owner is exceptionally helpful & knowledgeable.
I enjoyed & appreciated the conversations we exchanged on a wide variety of subjects which provided me with some new insights.

If you’re looking for the latest new printed novel by a famous author this is NOT the shop for you. If your looking for something different, older, pre-loved, hard to find items or just simply wish to explore what’s on offer I can almost guarantee that you will certainly not leave empty handed.

The prices are very reasonable with many absolute bargains on offer.

I would advise you allow plenty of time to peruse the shop as there are so many prizes waiting to be found.

An absolute must visit if you are into aviation books. Words cannot describe the range of aviation related books. An absolute Aladdin's den with books from the very early days of aviation to the current day and are very keenly priced too. The owner is an absolute gentleman, who is also a keen aviation enthusiast.
