The whole family went for a weekend away to celebrate a 80th birthday. We stayed in the High Park House, which was beautiful and well equipped. The house was big enough for all of us, there was a pool room and swimming pool with a hot tub! The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were comfy, we all slept really well. |We met the owner whilst we were staying there and she was lovely, she made sure we had everything we needed and showed us around the accommodation. The welcome basket was a really nice touch, the scones were amazing and enjoyed by everyone! |The accommodation is in an amazing location, it was peaceful but you were a short drive away from shops etc. We will definitely be back!

We are just about at the end of a week stay at High Park Barns. This is our second visit here and we cannot rate it more highly. Beautiful houses, decorated well and equipped to a very high standard. Lovely touches like a bottle of local milk in the fridge and scones and cream waiting on our arrival. The pool is fab especially for rainy days and we love the allocated slot per house per day (alongside free swim time) meaning you get the pool to yourself which we really enjoy. There was a new addition of a trampoline this year which our kids loved. The owner is lovely and gave us lots of recommendations for things to do. A personal favourite this time was Watermouth Castle and cycling using the cycle hire at Torrington. We can't wait to come back again next year!!

We stayed in the Coach House and it was perfect. Great space for a couple, the kitchen is great and fully equipped. The pool is a lovely bonus!

We've been here several times over a number of years and we are always happy with our stay. There is a very nice pool and hot tub which work on a rota so we don't have to share, lovely views across the valley, and heated floors make it a perfect winter holiday. I like to stargaze here because there's very little light pollution

We stayed in the Sheldon Barn and Coach House over Christmas and had a brilliant stay. We saw both owners during the course of our stay and they were very friendly and helpful. The barn was excellent and perfect for a family stay. The beds were very comfortable and we all had a great sleep. The site is beautiful, quiet and maintained to a very high standard. Yet it is only a short drive to Atlantic Village and Westward Ho. The highlight was the pool and hot tub facilities which are open 24 hours a day and are timetabled so every family has the facilities to themselves. Swimming in the evening with the underwater lights was just amazing!!! There is a lake on site which would be a fabulous spot in the summer. Would recommend!!!

We decided to stay in Bideford for a few days and it’s safe to say we were impressed. We brought our 10 year old Red setter to stay with us as the place is dog friendly (although there is a £25 dog fee). As we stayed in off season we were the only people there for most of our stay so the lovely owners said we could use the pool whenever we liked, and we made the most of that! It was clean and available to use almost 24/7 apart from 20 mins per day for cleaning. Our rooms were cozy and cute and there is a heating system in place which was a must in January! Clean showering towels were provided as well as complimentary scones, jam and cream, and even some little slippers too. The shower was lovely too. We stayed in Hastings so we also had a lovely view of the fields surrounding the land. There is a booklet provided with suggestions of places to eat and also things to do. We obviously visited the local beaches and the shopping complex as well as tried out a couple of the restaurants. We would all happily stay again on our return to Bideford, especially in off season!

Very spacious, comfortable, clean in a beautiful setting. Furnished very well, bathroom is excellent (we stayed in Molesworth Barn). Owners are very helpful, cream tea waiting for you on arrival is a nice touch. Very suitable for dogs, plenty of space to exercise with no traffic to worry about. Location is great, very quiet yet a short drive to main roads, shops etc.

Fabulous large house, with shared indoor heated pool & hot tub close by in barn. Other converted barns around, along with beautiful land and a small lake.

Rooms are large, kitchen table is massive. Pool table is fun and a bit worn, ok for non serious users (needs new cue set & green repair).

Plenty of accessories and a large enclosed trampoline outside. BBQs for the summer, and outdoor seating.

It isn't cheap, but is a marvellous location if you have a car. Walking along the local roads without one is a bit dicey due to single track/corners and it's not near any town within easy walking distance, so best take cars.

I would recommend it for big family gatherings such as weddings and birthdays.
