What a gruesome delight! Helen is a master storyteller and builds a fun and inviting tour. She is a world builder and immerses you through her words and audience participation. The theme of the tour is very much like a Horrible Histories-style narrative, giving you oodles of gruesome stories, narrated in a playful, tongue in cheek format. Who knew that Hexham has so much vibrant history!! Thanks to Helen, I have been well eductaed AND entertained!

Me and my 2 kids (9 and 11) went on the afternoon tour today. Helen is an amazing host very knowledgeable and got everyone involved was even brilliant dealing with random questions from 9yo. Will highly recommend it saw places you wouldn't even know where there.
