The signal box on the station is rather special as it is listed. It was built in 1876 and, as the listing says, 'survives with a high degree of intactness'

Wonderful throwback to a more peaceful time . The crossing gates still operated by hand . Beautiful flower display . It was a pleasure visiting Heckington Mill close by , and the station was not a disappointment either . Charming ! 😊
