Hebridean Hopscotch were both helpful and efficient in arranging ferries and dog-friendly accommodation for our stay on the Outer Hebrides. They made the whole process straightforward and stress free and provided good advice when adverse weather affected ferry availability. Thoroughly recommended.

I recently booked a holiday to the Outer Hebrides through Hebridean Hopscotch. They were very helpful in advising me on accommodation as I got bogged down trying to decide what would be best for me.
It was a treat to have someone put together the holiday for me. Everything went according to plan. I used three ferries and all were on time and run very efficiently.
I decided to book through Hebridean Hopscotch as I was going to be travelling by myself and they have an out of hours number which you can call in an emergency. It was reassuring to know they would be there to help if I did have a problem.
If I decide to return to the Outer Hebrides, I won't hesitate to use them again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

We had a fantastic holiday, jumping from beautiful island to beautiful island... Car was great, each and every B&B was lovely, every ferry and flight perfectly timed. Making all those arrangements myself would have taken days. I'd definitely recommend Hebridean Hopscotch and may very well use them again.

The Outer Hebrides is a beautiful place and ideal for walkers/hikers. We saw cyclist as well but they must have been very fit because the islands are quite hilly. Being disabled pensioners we drove through the islands using the ferries (for the first time) and causeways and everything went quite smoothly. The roads were in good condition albeit narrow but the are plenty of passing places and people are very polite and appreciate it if they are a local and you pull over to let them past as they know the roads better. There are sheep wandering on the roads but they do have the sense to get out of the way when they see you coming. There don't appear to be pubs on the main road where you can stop for a drink and a bite to eat, although there may be some further into the housing areas but there are cafes. We did not meet one unfriendly person, in fact most were extremely friendly and welcoming. Please be aware the Sat Nav doesn't seem to work the same on the islands - it will get you to the general area and then you may need to ask someone.
We got the ferry from Oban to Bara, it's just a pity Kisimul Castle wasn't ready yet for us to visit .
Our hostess Mairi in Maellard B&B on Bara was lovely and the B&B was clean, comfortable and plenty of food in fridge for your continental type breakfast.
Our next stop was The Dark Island Hotel on Benbecula where we had Netflix etc on TV and a spa bath - pity we were only there one night. Nice restaurant and help yourself buffet style hot breakfast.
We carried on up through the islands to Stornoway in Lewis and stopped at the Caladh Inn for 2 nights. The rooms were not as luxurious as the previous hotel but adequate. We had the carvery in their restaurant both nights, which was very nice and the hot breakfast was also help yourself buffet style.
We then drove back down to Harris to get the ferry over to Skye.
One thing only we were disappointed in and that was absolutely nothing is open on a Sunday, so if you go out anywhere, make sure you have enough fuel and take a packed lunch/drinks etc

We have just had the most magically relaxed holiday cycling the Hebridean Way from Barra to Stornaway thanks to Hebridean Hopscotch. We hired bikes and the only thing we had to think about was getting to the next destination (all flights. accommodation and ferries were booked by HH). Everyone we met were so friendly and I would recommend HH to anyone. Thank you!

The hotels chosen were excellent evening breaks after 30/40 cycling day. The food offered for evening meals and breakfasts was also of a high quality. And of course the ordering of 7 days of sunshine was greatly appreciated
