Anyone who doesn't tour Scotland with Heartland Tours should just stay home. Eddie's outgoing personality, local knowledge and experience deliver a lush experience that Scotland is meant to be. Schedule him in advance. You'll see more of Scotland with an understanding of what your are seeing than you would on your own and at a more relaxed pace than a structured operated tour. As an added bonus you'll make a good friend, also. Keep Charging Eddie!

My family/friends and I recently visited Scotland. Eddie @ Heartland Tours was handpicked by my longtime friend George (our most, ahem, particular and trusted plan master of our group) after months of planning and researching. For nearly two weeks across nearly the entire country, Eddie of Heartland Tours was there every step, stop, and stumble along the way... and very punctual, I might add. He was so warm and friendly, accommodating/flexible and extremely knowledgeable. Wow! He was a perfect fit for us... ALL 5 of my crazy bunch! He helped make our trip one for the books... and I feel as though he's life-long "friend" after our adventure! Cheers, Eddie!

Eddie was amazing guide! Despite being unexpectedly hit with a once in a century storm, he was able to flexibly plan around this. He has a deep understanding of local history and an amazing grasp of local culture!

We were in a situation where there was nearly no path out of Scotland due to the weather and Eddie safely navigated is from the highlands to the airport in time for one of the last flights out before the worst of the storm hit.
