It's a fabulous station for connecting to Buxton and Manchester. there are always no issues every time I use this station straight to the point and open ticket office to help with anything else....

Large car parking, helpful staff and a good espresso bar on the platform is open at peak times. The regular staff here are always very nice and I only hope that there are no plans to let a ticket machine affect their jobs.

Hazel Grove Railway station, Is good but leaves alot more to be desired... Platform seating is minimal. Woodern station canopy dosent look to overjoyed to be there... station staff are what truly boost this from 2 to 4, customer service; top level players, pleasant and informative with additional friendlyness. They are always keeping people in the know whilst undergoing duties...

It's a good little station, and the staff (Dianne and David) are warm, friendly, helpful and informative as they answered my variety of questions relating to the area on my first visit to Hazel Grove about two years ago (directions, descriptions of interesting retail stores and exactly how far they are from the station, etc) which put me immediately at ease, and they also answered questions about train-related queries, and more. So the customer service level of quality is excellent.

I've travelled to this station on several occasions over recent years and the flower bed feature at the front of the building overlooking the car park is especially beautiful. I love the white rose bush, it's so gorgeous. It's nice to have something lovely and interesting to admire whilst you're waiting for the next train to arrive. I recommend this station, and the trains that I've caught from here have been on time. No problems.

Best station to travel from if you enjoy late or cancelled trains. Even more fun when you get to cram into a tiny two-carriage train during rush hour, really livens up the senses to get you ready for the work day.

An average station which is served by trains towards Buxton, Manchester and even Blackpool. The station itself has some decent facilities such as a large car park, step free access via a lift up to the footbridge and some waiting rooms on the platforms.

Local buses to Stockport town centre and Macclesfield stop right outside of the station, which is nice.
