A great first experience for my son entrance for him to fish, me to watch, hire of pole and net and a tub of bait was £23. The junior lakes are open 10-5, we stayed all day from open to close. The staff were brilliant, really helpful and luckily the other people around us were also friendly and helpful when we got stuck trying to remove the hook! Also a lovely cafe on site and toilets.

Enjoyed our family day activity at the junior fishing ponds. The staff were very friendly, and very relaxed. Our kids (6-9) years old could fish a big carps and touched them before releasing them. A very good experience for children.

Decent breakfast, good selection too. The outside tables & chairs by the lake on a sunny day are a pleasant place to have breakfast on. The Avocado toast with Chorizo & poached eggs was tasty. The order queue took a while but once ordered pretty quick to bring the food.

I don't normally write reviews. But this place is amazing for a day out. Took my father and neither of us have any experience. They gave us a quick guide on how to fish and release the fish as well as how to remove the hook safely as well. Spend 2hours and caught 11 fishes in the Junior Lake. Amazing staff amazing service. Amazing place! Will definitely visit again! 😊

Great day out with grandchildren, lovely place to show children how to fish. It was a bit busy on the day we went but understandable as it
was school holidays. I was a little concerned as some people did not know how to land fish and I saw a fish being landed onto gravel. It would have been good if someone was watching out of the welfare of the fish.
