Just come back from primrose valley holiday park. We really needed a peaceful break so splashed out on one of the seafront caravans. The caravan itself was clean and views were lovely. That’s were the positives end. We were, unfortunately situated right next to a building site, where the builders played incredibly loud dance music from 8-3pm every day, making it impossible to use the balcony, or even relax in the caravan. We, like most of the seafront caravans, were very close to the entertainment centre. The music there started in the afternoon and went on until midnight. The bass was so loud and soundproofing so poor that the whole caravan shook with every beat. This made it almost impossible to sleep. Our daughter was in tears most nights because of this. In the end we had to leave our holiday early just to get a good nights sleep. This is the first time we’ve ever had to leave a holiday early. Very disappointed with the whole experience and feel short changed given we paid over £200 per night for this amount of stress.

The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed. It was warm & cosy in the evening after a day walking the headland. The site was very clean and quiet and the staff we met helpful. Mini market well stocked for essentials at reasonable prices.

My Grand daughter Miss Jessica Masters her baby son Sebastion and her best friend Vicky and her baby son, booked 3 nights stay at your Caravan site. My grand daughter had specified her need fir easy access to the caravan and particular bed lay out they needed, as Sebastian has special needs. When they arrived they found the caravan was not easy access and had to carry Seb and all the equipment he needs in to the caravan. When they finally got in, the boiler was not working. After ringing support and waiting for hours they were offered a different caravan. Bigger but then found out no water. Rang the support number again and waited for several hours, the babies needed water for their feeds. Vicki set off alone to buy some bottled water, while she was gone a workman arrived and said I have come to fix the electrics. Jessica said no it's the water. He got it on for them. Finally they could relax and get the babies settled. I know my grand daughter is making a complaint, but has her nanan I was disappointed they had such a rotten time on their arrival. |Mrs V M Clark

We have stayed a few times here. Loved it both times.
Caravan was clean and warm.
Loads of facilities, I really liked that there are two sides to eat, one busier/arcades and entertainment. The other a pub with a park/outdoor cinema and rides.

Beach a short walk away and dog friendly xx

Need more staff, cleanliness wasn't too great, eating places top notch.
One assistant in arcades, tall with glasses was super hard
working and so was Sammy who did bingo and lots more.
Enjoyed pool, booked activities need a bit more oomph apart from the excellent ranger who did bug hunting.

Caravan was very clean and had lots of things in the kitchen. Staff were friendly and efficient. Lots of activities, but you need to book in advance. Otherwise, they will be fully booked. Restaurants deliver to your caravan which was lovely! The maintenance team would come quickly if you need help. Only down side is that single beds are really narrow. It's more like kids' size. Otherwise it was a lovely stay and would surely go back. We went during half term so I was worried it would be packed and we won't enjoy it. Yes, it was crowded but we didn't have a problem. Everything was run smoothly.

Visit annually, can be expensive and some of the dog friendly Caravans we have hired what was Prestige to now Silver they are a little tired and unfortunately can have a strong Dog smell when warmed up. Carpets need taking out living area and swap for lino.
Staff very helpful and got ours cleaned to remove some of the Smell.
Still a great place to visit and no doubt will be back in 25.
Reception team spot on.
