Hathaways are by far the best estate agent we have ever used - It’s been a welcome change to have an agent who’s on your team and would do anything they can to help.

We chose to sell through Hathaways as they had the best local knowledge. We had a good number of viewings, sold within a week, for the price we wanted, off-market and all for a very competitive fee – But they really stood out as fantastic agents during the conveyancing period.

Our own sale (via Hathaways) conveyancing went quickly and smoothly, but we had a number of issues further up the chain. Oliver Barker worked tirelessly on our onward purchase (despite it not being the sale they were directly acting on); speaking to us and our buyers every day, as well as 4 sets of solicitors, management agents and estate agents further up the chain – even one in-person trip to Wales to help with a particularly non-responsive solicitor and arranging temporary accommodation for our buyers when there were delays.

We definitely took up a lot of Ollie’s time and energy, but he would always happily pick up the phone to us and immediately get in the car/on the phone to whoever he needed to speak to to help, without complaint, time and time again – and without him and Hathaways experience and help, I doubt we would have ever got to buy our forever home!
