Lovely walk along sea front and into harbour. Goid choice of eateries, shame the icecream parlour was closed. Had fish and chips at lockgates, they were delicious and fresh. The staff were really friendly, and very efficient service.

Lovely modern marina to walk around. There are a variety of restaurants, bars and cafes to choose from. The best thing to visit is the boat Watchful. It is an historic vessel that rescued hundreds of soldiers from Dunkirk in WW2 and is now a lovely little cafe, but it isn't accessible.

This Marina is one of the most beautiful sea front I have ever seen in the UK. Vast blue waters in front and hundreds of boats waiting nearby to explore that water is really eye soothing. Though the beach is not accessible through the marina but it can be enjoyed from the walkways. And Seaton Carew sea beach is just a walk away. Besides there are a lot of good food places near the marina to meet the hunger induced by the breeze from the sea.

Reviewing as a MARINA, some people think reviewing this business to talk of the whole area is unfair. We visited in our boat recently. Staff very helpful, berthing and fuel cost is reasonable. Pontoons are secured. The toilets/showers were a little dated but clean and presentable. We will return.

Hartlepool Marina is beautiful, well worth a visit; even if you only visit the once.

There are plenty of bars, restaurants, coffee shops, etc, to enjoy a drink in.

When you enter the marina with your vehicle, you are on camera, and you're given 15 minutes to drive in / around before you have to pay for parking.
Parking is cashless. You must scan a QR code to go to a website and pay by card. If you're not familiar with this kind of technology you're probably going to struggle to park, in that instance I suggest you park elsewhere and walk to the marina.

On a sunny day it's beautiful and you are treated to some history of Hartlepool when you visit!

The council should hang their heads in shame at the empty plots - its clear local businesses aren't supported enough by the council, I'm sad to see empty plots. Maybe the council don't like tourism, however if you're prepared to pay the parking charge the marina truly is beautiful.

It's also good for a night out and can get very busy over the weekend.
