Usually, it's a good place for a walk for people who have a disability as it's flat. The beach is rock pools, not much sand or places to sunbathe, but you can reach a beach if you walk to the end, which takes you to the start of the South West cliff path. Easy parking, great for bird watching , a good view of Looe Island which you can walk to at low spring tide. There is a good, popular cafe with outside seating with nearby toilets. There are tennis courts also.

Most amazing beach, looks different every day, high tide and waves crashing to low tide and an abundance of rock pools to explore, with a view of looe Island too, lovely walkway just above the beach, great cafe nearby too, toilet facilities on this beach. Continue on over the fields and take the coastal path to talland Bay then polperro, magical.

This is a wonderful beach to visit if you are interested in coastal wildlife. It's the perfect place too, to bring children to explore rock pools. Although you have limited rock pools in nearby Looe beach, far more here along with vast range of seaweed and shells. There is some sand for sandcastle building! Nearby there are public toilets and places to buy food and drink.
