We have delivered training at this location three times in the past two months and overall we have been very disappointed. We have stayed and delivered training here and overall the service (bar 2 people) was extremely poor. First the positive, Eve and Sandra absolutely fantastic, as professional trainers ourselves management need to take note, they (Eve & Sandra) should be training others in customer care in this hotel! For the development, where do I start... The majority of the reception staff are very poor, one lady on our check in was so rude and watching her and her friend smirk at her rudeness was like watching two naughty schoolgirls. When I reported this to the supervisor, she apologised but it was evident she wasn't really listening and likely she didn't care; I suggest this is the real issue, a lack of adequate management. I would remove these people from any customer facing role in an instant. Nearly every morning we had the constant battle of attempting to access the training room prior to the start of the training, many times we were chasing people for flip charts, water, coffee etc. They even tried to move us into an inappropriate room that wasn't on our contract for 'another client'. Lunch was at best adequate and after we complained this week, it did improve but then the day after when Sandra wasn't in, it reverted back to dysfunctional incompetence. Many staff are either rude, think they are someone special or just don't get customer care. I awarded two stars because of Eve and Sandra who get it, if they weren't there it would be a zero. Btw we won't be coming back.

We managed to leave something behind and the staff were able to find it and contact me to collect it. The staff were very accommodating and helpful.
One downside, at breakfast there were no mushrooms and the hash browns and sausages ran our. Apart from that very good.

Stayed here as part of a larger group this weekend, hotel was very nice, staff were very good and the room's were good and clean.
Only downside was breakfast poor choice available and not much of it, in fact on one day members of our party were forced next door to Weatherspoon's as they had run out of food.
Weatherspoon's breakfast is good though and they do fried eggs.

Amazing service from Gabi and Eve at the front desk. Both helped to sort an issue out quickly and with no fuss.

On first impression, the hotel seemed fine – reasonably clean and not overly dated. Unfortunately, the mattress was dreadful: springs poking through, constant creaking, and rock-hard. I didn’t sleep at all.||Reception staff were very friendly at check-in and check out, but breakfast was a different story. The older staff member on duty was eating while walking around cleaning tables and bringing food out, and even wiped her mouth on the tea towel she was using to carry the fresh food. This is unacceptable and suggests the food hygiene training needs to be revisited. Sadly, the breakfast food itself was also poor quality.||I would disregard the Hilton branding – this hotel is nothing like other Hiltons I’ve stayed at and is more in line with a Travelodge. If I were in the area again, I’d choose a Holiday Inn or Premier Inn instead.||On a side note, the Wetherspoons next door is perfectly fine for meals – we had dinner there and it was much better.

Lovely area although this hotel is in a business park ...so not very scenic, but served as a comfortable stop over whilst visiting good friends.

The Hotel and room nice and clean. Staff all extremely friendly. Good price. Great location for where I needed to be. Would stay again if in the area on business. Plenty of places to eat close by as well as their own restaurant. Free wi fi throughout.

I was greeted nicely and that's where my good experience ended. I payed for a queen room, the receptionist told me its exactly the same as every other room. There's a girl on the front desk who is rude and abrupt. She seen I was not one of the posh folk and began treating me like a child for no reason. Shouting across the room at me at one point. The bedroom is incredibly drab, at 7am and 6pm the room fills with sewage smell. The shower gel did not cone out of the tub. The gym is a treadmill and a few dumbells. The menu is around 5 meals, and the food itself was worthy of a backroad pub back in Birmingham. Would never go again. Total waste
