Hame Tours helped us organize a custom tour during our stay at Ness Walk in Inverness. Our driver Michael picked us up in a luxury van and drove us to the Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns to experience some history, adding interesting details along the way. From there, we saw beautiful countryside and highland cows on the way to a tasty lunch at the Mash Tun in Aberlour. Then, Michael drove us to our pre-booked tour at the Balvenie Distillery and back along the coastal route. All in all, it was a terrific day. Michael was a great guide, and we highly recommend Hame Tours to anyone looking for a unique Highlands experience.

Our experience with Hame Tours has been nothing but exceptional. Working with Andrew to secure our tours was a very simple process. We booked 2.5 days with Hame Tours. One day exploring Inverness and the surrounding area, one day a trip to the Isle of Skye and finally our transfer to FT. William. We were extremely fortunate to have Willie Christie as our guide and driver for our entire booking. To say Willie made our days with him unforgettable would be an understatement. He brings a passion for Scotland and life to his tours. He takes you to quiet gems you didn't read about in all of the research you did for the trip and he does it all with an amazing sense of humor.

If you are fortunate enough to visit Inverness, Hame Tours and Willie will give you a once in a lifetime experience.

Andrew MacDonald was an outstanding host for our Glory of Ross tour. We wanted to experience the Northern coast of Scotland with out the hassle of driving our group touring. We had a fantastic day with Andrew, a true Scottish gentleman that loves his country and enjoys sharing his pride and knowledge if Scotland. Andrew came highly recommended by our Hotel, Ness Walk. We road in comfort in a Mercedes sedan. The cost was a real value versus our travel agents suggestions. We saw terrific sites including long visits exploring gorges and botanical gardens and short stops for pictures. It was a very enjoyable day. Much thanks to Andrew and Hame tours.

I highly recommend booking a tour with Andrew. We toured the Speyside region in May 2024 making stops at multiple distilleries and several historic and beautiful sites in between. He was so knowledgeable about all the Scottish history and took us to many sites that we never would have found on our own including a gorgeous Clydesdale Ranch, a couple historic bridges, a cashmere manufacturer and the most stunning backroads scenery. Andrew is such an interesting and entertaining person...even sang us a couple of traditional songs!

Had booked a three-day holiday in Inverness but, plans going awry, didn't have use of a car. Didn't want to miss out on some of the exciting sites outside the city so asked the hotel for ideas. They linked me up with Hame Tours and it worked out perfectly. Not only could they drive me around, they became my guides. Steve and Andrew were very friendly and helpful, with Andrew even giving me some of his Gaelic musical renditions! They waited whilst I viewed the sites and gave me really useful tips on other places to see, as well as lots of history info as we drove around. If anyone wants to visit places like Culloden and Fort George but is worried about not having a car, consider getting in touch with Hame!
