Abysmal - they are covering phones for Worcester because there are so few staff, and are bussing in carers from Leeds to cover Worcester area. Don't respond to the phone, the 247 means 24 minutes every 7 hours, if you're luck - it's certainly not all hours out of hours. They are very regular and reliable in that they RELIABLY don't turn up to give my mother medication, and REGULARLY miss visits. Accord to the app, she's not had her twice daily meds for 3 days now. Disgraceful.

For short time this was the company that cared for my father but it was the main company for my mother what I would say is is that the carriers really work hard but there are some character not very good the company management are dreadful all they are interested in is making lots of many and so we had loads of problems to the point I had two complain to the embarmen about them and social services and a one my complaint but at the end of the day they don't give time for people travel time to go from one appointment to another and because of that it eats them to your call time for your mother or father and therefore it's cheating the system they did say they were going to add it travel time in but they never did. Ulcer woman was sent from hospital not fully well the company did not when they had concerns said my mother back to the hospital and therefore she died partly because of negligence from this company and they've never offered any compensation before it happened or the ombudsman case, which is heartless and shows you just what kind of company you're dealing with. Also have problems with the shopping not being done properly only going to one major sharp when there were many others right next to it not getting the right things and buying cheaper things that weren't so good and I could go on

Hales are a great company, they cared for my Aunt for the past have 3 years. I have never had a issue with the carers or the office staff in the Peterborough branch. The manager of is always really supportive and understanding. They make our life so much easier. Thank you hales Peterborough!!

Hales have been supplying carers for my husband for last 9 months. The office has always fulfilled my requirements and change of times when requested. All carers they have sent to look after my husband have done so with care and consideration. I believe any company is only as good as their employees and in my opinion they are excellent.

Bad communication and lying
Never calling back or really “look into problems”. Their best way of handling problems is by convincing you to wait over and over again until the problem does not matter any more
As a reply to the reply: I go on site, only to see the server users or their children (age 30-50 generally) going through paperwork how to get rid of Hales, many many colleges not getting paid for mileage (despite email, handwritten request, 1:1 discussion was the office people are like, drop the subject as I noted it doesn't on my notes, only to make you shut up as once you have left, and weeks past, they will just play dump, any request of a date when it will be done is given general or uncertain answers) many visits not being paid, many many shifts just cross between the shift only to tick them despite being impossible to fulfil them and this is just the tip of the iceberg and you tell me you are unaware of any of them that I need to email you? I and others have made many complains, and the result was the same: No answer. If you insisted you were told off for having "attitude" (for not falling for managers manipulations), if you persist you don't get any answer except we are busy, the person who deals with is not here etc, and of course, people just leaving (again, this is when a problem arise and you, as an employee, need to contact the office as they did a mistake or just didn't fulfil their part). If you really wish a good picture, 1: don't ask people working in the office, but make contact with the cares AND server user working how they fell about the OFFICE. Make sure you are clear about this. As regardless were I go in Peterborough, regardless of what the server user suffers from, it was always the same apologies I got when they were in distress: its the office and not the care's fault. If the office phone, of course, a VULNERABLE person will not say anything that will risk making them more vulnerable. If you phone them to ask in general, they might not make the difference between the service the cares give and what the office does, so their opinion will be mixed, biased etc if you ask both cares as the office (I saw that many many many many times).
And please understand one thing: this is a reply for you, as I am well aware that the server user are the one suffering even more than cares so I really wish for all my comments to be taken seriously as while it was a long time I did work there, I did describe accurately my experience and many other people I witness and a lot of people (including family and server users) confirmed that this is an ongoing problem. And I really wish that to end.
