We had an enjoyable time at Hagley Park. We stopped at the cafe for a nice cup of coffee. The cafe itself is clean & well presented, with a good choice of food & drink. There are also cabinets where you can purchase food & drink on the go. You have to register your name before you can go on the walk. We've got an annual membership, but there is a fee if you aren't a member. Dogs are allowed on a short leash because of the deer & birds nesting in the grass. There are some steep parts, so if you have mobility difficulties you may want to take a less demanding route. The walk is pleasant with some stunning views overlooking Hagley Hall & beyond.

Excellent country park with good paths and several follies. Good cafe serving hot drinks and snacks. There is a £10 entry fee to the park but it's well worth a visit. The park is popular with dog walkers and a season ticket can be purchased for around £40 allowing unlimited visits.

Still being restored , or rather it looks like it was started then stopped. "Castle ruin" folly is surrounded by ugly construction fencing and apparently has been for years, no sign of any progress there. Bench seating but some an inch deep in wet moss.
Some good views but on the whole disappointing for £10 I thought. Confusing signs for prices. One says £8 for historic houses members. Not mentioned on another.
Yearly ticket not available as a concession. £42. Thank you for the response. I was pondering whether it was worth me taking out a yearly ticket as I could have taken off the daily ticket price but I found the lady very fierce which put me off. I only saw the historic houses price after and didn't dare ask !

Beautiful place for a walk. Recommend the annual membership if you plan to visit more than once or twice. Very safe and secure to walk alone with dogs.
I've had my membership for two years and visit frequently as it's such a beautiful place to be no matter what the season. A big bonus is the wonderful cafe. Great food, friendly staff and a great atmosphere to enjoy a drink or food after your walk.

Simply a superb place for a dog friendly walk and quality coffee afterwards. The staff are all lovely, the park is well managed and the views are stunning. Well worth the fee. Updated Jan 25 just to say how we still value our membership to the park and how well it's ran. Our mental health has positively benefited and every time we visit we see something different.

Lovely walks in the historic park. Often see the wild deer that live there and other wildlife.
Very friendly helpful staff. Very clean cafe and toilets. Lovely snacks and drinks.
Our Grandson (7) enjoys the walks and especially the hot chocolate and chocolate brownie in the cafe. Both our grandchildren loved the playhouse by the cafe.

I feel inspired to write a review as we love visiting Hagley Park. Michelle and her team always give us a friendly welcome, and keep the place spotless. We've been visiting Hagley Park and visitor centre since not much after it opened, being season ticket holders we find it such a relaxing place to walk. Steeped in history,if you're lucky enough to catch Joe in the park , he will give you an insight into years gone by. Our favourite place to walk

A beautiful, relaxing place to walk. This is a very special place. I have walked around in all weathers and unlike other places, it always feels quiet. This is because of the many trails allowing you to walk around and see very few people. Despite this, it is very safe. Surrounded by fences, they make a note of your entry time and how many people/ dogs to ensure that everyone is safe in the park. There is also an emergency number that can be called if needed. It is also perfect for rescue dogs or nervous dogs. All dogs must be kept on a short lead, and from my experience, people do follow the rules. A wildlife haven, with badger sets, deer, foxes, birds of prey and lots of butterflies. Rain, snow or sunshine, the walk is always different. Walking through a wooded area with 10+ deer running across the path - truly magical. So many spots to take photos with lovely views and beautiful ponds. The paths have also been covered with gravel and this helps a lot - when most places are muddy, Hagley Park often has many dry walks. The cafe is also lovely, affordable, great choice for vegetarian and vegans, dog friendly and very friendly staff. They have also recently opened a secure field for dogs. Cannot recommend more!!
