Visited yesterday (Thursday) as a family of 8 (4 generations) and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were really friendly and every time we asked if we could hold an animal nothing was too much trouble. The young girl who worked there (didn’t catch her name) who has been with you for about a year from doing her work experience, was exceptionally lovely and answered all our questions. Credit to your farm park !!
The kids really enjoyed the outdoor play area with the inflatables and they loved the zip line inside the barn.
We were on holiday from North Wales and would definitely return here if we visited again.

Excellent place to visit. Great for everyone adults and children of all ages and abilities all are welcome. Lots of things to do and see. Friendly helpful staff make your visit so much better. The animals appear well cared for and are friendly and enjoy the attention of the visitors. Lots of different animals to see and interact with including pigs, sheep and goats to snakes, emus and donkeys. Cuddling goats, stroking lots of animals and feeding them bliss, such a wonderful experience. There is a cafe on site if you want or a picnic area for those who want to bring a packed lunch. There are various activities available on site such as laser tag and mini golf, unfortunately the laser tag was unavailable when we visited. There are plenty of free parking spaces and an overflow car park. Very reasonable entry price 27.50 for three adults and a child with a tub of feed for the animals. There are refills of feed available at £1 a time....laser tag and golf etc cost extra and pay for as and if you use them but there is so much to do that you don't have to if you don't want to. There is a bouncy castle and bounce pillow, sand pit, nerf guns, giant darts and axe throwing.
They have toilets available and plenty of hand washing sites for after touching the animals. They would benefit from having more toilets available....as there was a slight wait and this was Easter holidays I feel this would be a longer wait in the height of summer. Highly recommend visiting.

We paid £18 for two adults and two tubs of animal feed which was quite expensive but there was not much at all there to see or do. No one gave us any guidance on what or where to go or do. Just felt like we were walking round someone's back garden at times. There was a few cool animals but not worth the price.

What an amazing place!

We visited a few years ago and weren’t impressed but it has improved loads.

Easy to find, plenty of parking and lovely staff.

My 8 year old is autistic, has extreme anxiety and struggles with busy places but there was plenty of space to spread out.

The staff running the lamb feeding were amazing, they even brought in some lambs and kids which were supposed to have been fully weaned, just so everyone got a chance to bottle feed them. A dark haired young guy gave everyone clear instructions and then got a few lambs and kids out for everyone to interact with, my son absolutely loved it!

As we left the same guy was handling a snake and letting everyone hold it. Not something my son wanted to do, but this staff member really does have a great ability to engage with everyone and clearly loves his job!

Great play area, but we didn’t access it as it was way out of my son’s comfort zone.

My son wants to return next week with his brother and sister, this is a massive win for a boy who rarely wants to leave the house.

Keep up all the hard work everyone at the farm!

What a lovely place! It’s easy to get to on the 555 from Lancaster (takes about half an hour) and the buses run every hour. We went to the Open Farm. £10 entry and £1.50 for a bag of feed if you want it. Really good vibes, lots of lovely animals. The staff were amazing and let you hold stuff if you asked. Had lots of reptiles, small mammals, owls, birds, farm animals. A great place for kids, there’s a amazing play area and a nice cafe. Both family with kids and groups of adult friends without kids around. Definitely not just for children, recommend to uni students! Such a peaceful time. There’s scheduled events and they feed the lamps in the morning and afternoon in spring/summer. When we went the events included: owl handling, reptile holding, lamp feeding etc. all the events are included in entry price and the people are so nice.

Our family of 4 inc 2 teenagers LOVED it here. Loads of opportunities to get hands on with various animals. The staff were all really knowledgeable and friendly. I thought the pricing was fair, especially given how clean the place is kept (goat poop swept up promptly in communal area), the conditions the animals are kept in, and for the duration of our stay (4 hours inc lunch). Special shout out to Jordan who got the highland cows out of the canal for us to enjoy seeing them! Lots of fun. Would go back regularly if we lived in the area.

I didn't experience everything there.
You can do Crazy Golfing, Laser Tag, and Play Barn Soft Play, which we didn't do, and you pay separately for them.

We paid to go to the farm, and you can buy animal feed, which tells you which animals you can and can not feed, and get a map.

It is an adorable farm and very popular.
There are goats and little pot belly pigs walking around. There are all the animals you'd expect on a farm.

It's nice and open, picnic benches, a hay barn with slide etc, there's also a giant bouncy.....thing!? Which kids love and a little paddling pool/mock beach which is perfect for very little one to paddle.

Accessibility: There is disabled parking, but it gets busy quite early on, then the rest of the car park is on gravel. I saw people in wheelchairs visiting, and staff are very supportive and helpful to promote inclusiveness. Just ask if needed, and they'll do the best they can. Recommending phoning ahead for any specifics. I am unsure about accesible toilets as i just didn't notice, but there may possibly be them. (Website may say)

But everything else is wide and open, clean, talks, plenty of benches dotted around and hand washing.

Will kids love it? YES. Will big kids/Grown ups love it? YES.

Absolutely amazing day. The staff are so friendly and relaxed with the animals. The food was brilliant as was the service. We stayed for pizza and ice cream after. The farm isn't huge which is a plus. Plenty to do for the kids and we will be back.
