From the moment we stopped here, there was a gentleman who moored our boat and greeted us to the area.
He gave us directions to the local attractions and explained how the facilities worked. Thank you for your help and making us feel welcome.

Great place to moor up and explore Great Yarmouth. The staff were helpful by helping us moor up and making sure the ropes were done correctly. The added bonus there was shower and toilet facilities. And we even got a meal delivered to the boat too 😊

Nathan and Gary helped us when we came in. They were great in giving us tips on what to see, where to eat, etc. They also helped us to get in and get out. All great guys! I believe rates where 8 pounds per day and 16 overnight. If you want to take a shower, that would be 2 pounds for 10 minutes of hot water. You can also get water here and plug in!

Superb! The gentlemen there are a god send. Be aware an overnight stay costs £13 with departure by 10am. A days mooring is £6 .Enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

If you are mooring at Great Yarmouth - then you will make use of the Yacht Station. Whether you stay for the evening or not, there is water for you to use - toilet facilities and even showers you can use for a small fee. It isn’t the most glamorous of mooring spots and judging by the size of the yacht station I would imagine it can get quite busy. We arrived at moderate business - however the boats are moored up side on nose to back and you may have to speak to your neighbours. I didn’t mind this - but some might. The staff were super friendly, helpful and had a decent sense of humour - some even volunteer their time to help people like us. The toilet block is well… a toilet block in continual use. I cannot speak for the womens (wife refused to go in) but the mens had 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks. It wasn’t the freshest experience - but I didn’t mind. A shower is a shower - a toilet is a toilet - and being that the yacht station staff are working around the clock - they still find the time to clean at the end of the day. Just note - the yacht station is about 20 min walk away from the sea front - if you struggle with walking this may put some strain you. Either book a Taxi or plan to stop and rest in the Town.
