Excellent collection of mostly unassuming British cars. Couple of outstandingly low mile cars eg last ever proper mini. Last MG Metro. Last Rover 75. Incredible Interceptor 7.2. Jam Roll owned by Baden Powell....... Over 100 cars tracing the rise and fall of Manufacturing here.

We visited in a weekday when the museum was not crowded. Staff are clearly bursting with enthusiasm and we met the founder, Richard, who gave us more insights about these automotive gems. Many of these cars are more ordinary models that visitors remember driving or owning. Models in danger of "going extinct" because they are considered unremarkable: Marinas, Victors, Avengers ....
They are engaging for the same reason that classic rock performances are interesting: they formed part of our lives, or those of our ancestors.
A spacious cafe with reasonable prices too.
Well worth a visit, especially on a rainy day, but in winter, wear something warm.

An excellent museum with a turn back the clock of all the British cars you remember from a while ago. Nice layout. Lots of cars. You get an excellent handheld Audio visual guide as it narrates each section and also gives QR tagged deeper detail on the cars.

And a lovely cafe for coffee and lunch. Will revisit soon.

You can also “drive your dad’s car” on many of the cars of yore for a few ££ more.

This is lovely place to travel back in time and rekindle so many memories. It's not the biggest and we were there for a couple of hours including a coffee at the cafe but it was a great place to visit. The staff are so friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. The car collection is very impressive and it's great to see so many classics in one place. The cafe didn't have anything gluten free cake on the day we went but it wasn't an issue. My 9 yo initially didn't want to come but loved it and enjoyed doing the quiz too.
Will be bringing the hubster here for a visit and a drive in a classic car.
Lovely morning out.

Great museum with a wide collection of classic British cars. Plenty to look at with an informative audio guide!

The scannable QR codes that come with this, is informative and cool to see the history of each car they have!

Such a great trip here, the combination of cars, advertising materials and the heady aroma of engine oil and interiors makes for a great day out. Excellent set up, audio guide included with entry which was a good addition for extra facts about the vehicles. Cafe was friendly and good value too. Worth prebooking tickets to save a few pounds at the door as well.

We had an absolutely fabulously fantastic day at The Great British Car Journey as we travelled back in time. You're right up close to the exhibited vehicles and there's usually a very good description placed infront of the displays.
The cafe is large, lots of seating and the coffee was delicious, we also met Richard the founder while we were in there along with his lovely wife and we chatted with them for several minutes.
For anyone remotely interested in cars we can't recommend a visit to The Great British Car Journey enough, you won't be disappointed!!!
