Brilliant little place! The bell tents are very spacious, could easily fit 4 double airbeds comfortably, with room to move around.
There are 3 portaloos, very clean. And a little pop up shop to buy a brew and some chocolate from 09:30 each morning. They also do watersports like kayaking and paddleboarding!
The site is right on the water, so you wake up to the beautiful sound of water. And when you open the tent door, you immediately see Windermere right in front of you.
The road down to the site is a little bit rough and bumpy, but nothing any normal car couldn't do.
We had a great stay!!

Had a wonderful morning kayaking using the independent launch booking. £6 for half a day is fantastic. The staff member on site, Ben, was an absolute gem and helped me fix my kayak back to my roof when I was finished and was all around funny and helpful. Can't recommend enough. Beautiful sights, cheap solo launch and helpful staff. Thank you so much Ben for helping me out!

Such a fabulous place! I booked a day doing off-roading and kayaking for my husbands birthday and we had the most wonderful day (got super lucky with the weather as well). All the staff were amazing, super knowledgeable, especially during the off-roading and they couldn’t do enough for us.

Shout out to Sara for helping with initial enquiries and booking (and her endless patience with me), and Lachlan for the great off-roading experience we had.

Would 110% recommend to anyone looking for a great day or weekend out - we will be back! X

Booked the archery and axe throwing for a hen do and it was awesome! We had such an amazing time and the bride loved it. Thanks again to the staff on the day for a brilliant session and huge thanks to Sara for being super responsive to emails and to help with anything we needed before our arrival. Definitely recommend!

We booked clay pigeon shooting and the 1hr 4x4 experience to celebrate a 60th birthday. All 6 of us had a great time and our expectations were massively exceeded.

All of us were complete beginners at shooting and Jason was so kind and patient with us and the perfect guide- we all hit something and there was a variety of different activities to do that kept things interesting and let us have a good go at different skills.

The 4x4 driving experience was amazing too and Josh was a fantastic, informative and friendly guide who did a wonderful job at keeping us safe whilst still letting us fully experience the landscape and vehicles capabilities.

Everyone in our group of 6 really enjoyed themselves and would love to come back

A must do for anyone wanting to try out driving a Land Rover on a private course. The instructor was fantastic and made the experience just perfect. Ideal for all ages.

The activities were fantastic, and the instructors were outstanding. They genuinely wanted everyone to have a positive experience, whether it was offering guidance during the Land Rover off-roading, assisting with clay pigeon shooting, or running the axe throwing and archery competitions. Free tea and coffee were provided during these activities, which was a great touch. However, on the last day, when we went kayaking, we were suddenly told that tea and coffee were no longer free (as Sara was around) The staff even commented that she was a bit of a Scrooge. For a weekend costing over £200, the least you can expect is complimentary refreshments. On top of that, we were charged for rubbish disposal—surely that should be included in the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return, which is a shame, but I’m not keen on putting more money into her pocket.

Had a great experience here, we did the archery before heading back home which was easy to find. Had a warm welcome when we arrived even if it was raining but the instructor I believe her name was hannah was brilliant. Had loads of fun and some great laughs while here couldn't have been better ?thanks for the experience and we will definitely be returning Todo the other activities!
