My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful two-night stay at Grassington House from August 30th to September 1st, and we are already thinking of our return. This charming hotel is an absolute gem in every sense of the word.||We were fortunate enough to enjoy both breakfast and dinner twice during our stay, and each meal was excellent. The food is, without a doubt, a star of the show. The emphasis on locally sourced ingredients is clear, and the chef and his talented team transform them into something truly special. Every plate was a burst of creative, delicious flavor, beautifully presented. It’s fine dining at its most enjoyable, elegant yet unpretentious and deeply satisfying. The breakfasts were equally fresh and impressive, setting us up perfectly for the day ahead.||The excellence of the food in the restaurant is matched only by the superb service in the hotel. Every member of the team was attentive, professional, and genuinely warm, making us feel incredibly welcome. Their recommendations were always spot-on, and it’s clear they take great pride in what they do.||The ambiance of Grassington House is another huge draw. The building itself is stylish and full of quirky character, sumptuously decorated to feel both cozy and elegant. We loved spending time in the bar area for a pre-dinner drink, and our room was beautifully appointed and luxurious.||Our stay was a perfect blend of exquisite food, impeccable service, and a delightful atmosphere. Thank you to Sue, the chef, and the entire team for a memorable experience. We cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back.

Spent sat night here and what a great stay. Our room is Alcock room and it has a lovely balcony. They have just refurbished the bathroom so it was very decent. ||We had dinner at the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast was plentiful and all home cooked. ||Everyone we met were absolutely lovely apart from lady of the house. She is a bit aloof. But still nice.

We have stayed her a couple of times and on both occasions we had a fantastic time.
The rooms on both occasions were immaculate, although the second time it was on the smaller side. The next time we go, I’ll be looking at one of the more premium rooms.
The food in the restaurant is also amazing. The first time we ate I looked at the plate and thought the volume of food for the price was really poor, but I was very wrong. The plate is deceiving and there was more than enough food, and the quality of that food is out of this world.
And as for the location, well it’s Grassington which is one of, if not my favourite place in the UK. Exceptional views, plenty of walks, lovely little village square.

The room we had was small but it was very clean and comfy. We both slept well.
Checking in was easy and quick.
The parking is a bonus and the location is lovely. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed our time.

Afternoon tea experience in the private pod was absolutely incredible! A great variety of food and fantastic service. Felt a real treat from start to finish, and the team bent over backwards to make everything extra special. Couldn’t recommend this highly enough.

Visited this hotel for a birthday treat and no words can be used to praise it more than perfection in every sense. Rooms are spotless clean ,very comfortable bed, shower is perfect with everything you need. The restaurant is amazing , food is cooked perfectly presented beautifully and tastes amazing. The staff are what this hotel excells, politeness and helpful. Free parking in the hotel grounds which are set in a quaint village. Only one little niggle is that in room 8 there were no USB slots to charge phones etc. I forgot my plug so had to plug my phone into the TV. Highly recommend

Had an issue with the room originally booked - something out of the hotel's control, but they nevertheless dealt with it in a truly exemplary manner (very rare nowadays!) and more than went out of their way to make up for it and give us a wonderful stay regardless. We really appreciated that.| |We ended up in the Square which, per its name, fronts the square. A friendly and welcoming gentleman checked us in cheerfully and showed us around. This is a lovely room with lots of space and light; it was great fun being surrounded by the sights and sounds of the square. The room was very well appointed and decorated, with numerous thoughtful touches, eg cookies, good tea/coffee and fresh milk, decanter of water on a pretty tray, magazines in the bay window seats. Plenty of table space/seating, good lighting/sockets etc. Toiletries in bathroom also ample and of good quality with a powerful shower, always a big plus for us! ||Drinks soaking up the warm sun outdoors, an excellent dinner in the restaurant (to be reviewed separately) and a delicious and generous breakfast the next morning added to a fine all-round experience. ||All the staff we encountered were friendly, efficient and helpful.||Thank you for a lovely stay; we would happily return if ever in the area again.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch for our anniversary. Great food with excellent service from professional staff. We haven't been disappointed during any of our visits over a number of years, highly recommend.
