From the first day we was made to feel so welcome by the staff. On are way to the site the receptionist rang us to say are caravan was ready which would have been 3 hours early (but we only on are first train for a 2 1/2 journey).|On arriving the caravan was spotless and hot tub was just being filled, beds are very comfy and clean. Only thing I will say we wish we had known, if your having a bbq please don't put everything on the outside table of you will attract about 30 unwanted guest (seagulls) which sent my children running with plates back into the caravan 😂😂😂😂.|Also after working out the Times with the pool it was easy to book, just go to the pool receptionist inside the pool area between 9am and 3pm to book your hour slot for the next day. This is are last night here tonight and not one off are family wants to go home. Please be aware that in June most things are closed in middle of the week but we still found lots to do.

Stayed at the site the end of July. We booked the caravan through a private renter. Caravan was nice, accommodated all our needs and location was a perfect base for Rhyl and Llandudno. Now the negative, the caravan we had was right next to the play park, the noise and I mean Noise, kids screaming, music blaring and dog barking, a ball being kicked against a fence behind us until late at night was totally unacceptable. I have children myself, but this was another level of noise. Other parks we have used had security patrols. I don’t think this park does.

Only went for one night reception staff were lovely n a very clean park we took our autistic son who is 23. Who will only go away with us he suffers really bad with his anxiety n mental health.al was fine until we went to go in club were a very rude pair of door men asked him to remove his hat which he wears as a comfort thing because of his anxiety.we tried to explain but was very nasty there was a sign on the door which he couldn't read because he can't read.but the 2 door staff was aggressive n rude real big men.showed us up n made situations awkward.my son took his hat off but couldn't cope so after 5 minutes came away.absolutly ruined our stay all he done was cried back in the caravan.these big men need educating on people with disabilities all they could do was laugh at him.i will be taking this further n making complaints to the right authorities for disability discrimination.craig

Just currently on a weeks holiday here there are pros and cons we are a bit board as the is not much to do on site entertainment boring have mostly used off site facilities caravans very close together and our is on the train line so everytime a train goes past the caravan shakes and wakes you up. The caravan itself is relatively modern and nice but lacks general maintenance Ie un comtable beds rusty radiators and light bulbs out just needs better maintenance. The staff in reception and club house friendly swimming pool. Staff seemed rude couldn't be bothered price was reasonable for time of year it's ok but not great.

Think Twice Before Buying from SF Parks

I strongly advise against purchasing a caravan from SF Parks.

My partner bought one earlier this year, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating. We were promised decking, which never materialized.

There were multiple issues with the caravan at handover—something we understand can happen, but after three weeks of multiple failed maintenance attempts (all under warranty), my partner had to pay out of pocket for his own contractor to fix the problems.

To make matters worse, we were placed on the wrong plot and told by staff that “there’s nothing they can do,” and to speak to sales.

Police are frequently present.

The entertainment is decent, but the venue is far too small for the size of the park, so finding a table can be a struggle.

The swimming pool is nice, but the changing facilities are shockingly tiny, barely enough room for six people, which is completely impractical.

On the positive side, the soft play area is great for kids.

However, the single entrance/exit causes daily traffic issues, with cars honking in frustration.

The park might be okay for a short break, but if you’re considering buying a caravan, beware…..once the sale is made, you’re pretty much ignored.

We hired a private caravan on here last week so can't comment on sites own. On arrival went to bottom of the site barrier as online says can enter here which I thought good as by reception....but no it not used so have drive to top and all way down site to get reception where the lady was nice. There is no directions in park to numbers of caravans, signage is poor and it a treck to the bins as only one bin area in park which is open skips where seagulls enjoy a feast!Shop is small ok for emergency. Site is good position for beach,shops and amusements tho I'd probably go other sites next time.

Spent lots of money on this site over the years. I live in meliden and still have get a ways here. i find the new lady behind the office counter very rude and condescending ,(small aged woman). Left us sat at the gate for ages because our reg is still not done a week later. So after we rang the office because no one answers the buzzer all week. I went to the office. This impolite lady was more concerned about our length of stay. Telling us how long we are allowed on site. It doesn't matter if I have a day left. the gate should work for me. I didn't want to spend time sat at gates waiting. She was rude in explaining we area only allowed 3 weeks. (We know that, that's why we booked three weeks. I think you need to put more customer friendly people on the desk. I'm a customer not a criminal at a custody desk. We left bemused at the tone of this lady. All we have done is gave money to you for a holiday and that's how we are treated.

Rented a beautiful caravan on Golden Gate and we enjoyed all the local area had to offer ..
Great location right next to the beach which we enjoyed in all weather ..site has a huge variety of facilities and entertainment something for everyone
We found the site clean ..well maintained ..friendly and safe
