I wish i could give zero stars. We bought 2 London Plus and paid extra to go to the London Eye but after we purchased the passes , we were told to book ahead with London Eye link that was provided. The link works fine but it keeps saying it's full. We went straight to the London Eye site in person and they said that they cannot do anything. We tried to call Go City and and emailed them also but they replied the next day in the evening and our passes has already expired. Do not buy the passes as they do not allow you to buy the popular attractions that costs more. We did not save from this instead lost more than 50% of the ticket price. Terrible service , total SCAM.

I have used the Go City pass in London and really had a great experience, that’s why I got it for our trip to Paris. But I’m disappointed in the amount of things on the pass in Paris and I have been denied entry into one of the museums that were on the pass. They said I didn’t have a bar code with the pass and so they weren’t able to scan it. Then they said I had to get an email, I don’t have very good reception because I am from another country so I can’t get an email. So they said I had to show them the email, we waited for 1/2 an hour but no email. It was so frustrating, the guy knew I had the pass and i showed him the museum was on the pass and we should have been able to get in but he said I needed a bar code. Not very good customer service.

The pass is extremely convenient. I loved not having to buy tickets at every location. Unfortunately the morning we planned to go to Westminster Abbey we were told at the entrance that Go Passes were not allowed until after 1 pm. It upended our entire day. We had to rush through another location and then struggled to get back in time to the Abbey. I was upset that this was not communicated ahead of time and it seemed very arbitrary.

We were happy with the GoCity 3 day pass in London. We liked the fact that it has 2 days of the Big Bus hop on hop off included so we were able to visit different places.

However, we were quite dissatisfied and upset with the GoCity in Amsterdam. We were in Amsterdam for only 2 days so we bought a 2day pass. We used the first day and for the second day, it was showing it’s expired. We were so embarrassed when the places we wanted to visit told us it’s expired as if we’re trying to sneak in. We tried to do the live chat and requested to talk to a live person after questions were not answered. Unfortunately, it kept on ending the session before we finished the conversation. We had to repeat the whole conversation again! This happened 3 times. Nothing was resolved. It was very frustrating. We tried to explain to the staff of the places we wanted to go to as we have booked the time and hoping that after we explained they will let us in. They were kind enough to let us in.

My husband and I chose a 3 day Go City pass for our first trip to London in April 2025. It was a busy three days, but I made the most of it and squeezed as much as I could into 3 long days. (Our next 4 days were a slower paced).

Did the London 3 Day Go Pass save you any money? Here are the costs per person USD

The cost of each pass was $160.55 (includes tax)

Kensington Palace $32.77

Tower of London $52.40

Tour Bridge Tour $21.22

The Shard $42.45

Boat Ride down the Thames River $14.33

West Minster Abbey Tour $39.80

London Eye $55.72

Total - $258.69 A savings of $98.14 per person

Reflection on the London Go Pass - It was very easy to use at each of our stops. The only place we had to wait in line was Westminster Abbey. I did need to get reservations prior 3 of the locations, but the app really helped with which places required reservations. There are a few things I wouldn't have done if I didn't have the pass, but we were really happy with our purchase and our almost $200 savings. Definately use the app for trip planning. It made it so much easier to divide our days into specfic areas so we did not waste anytime traveling from place to place

Not family-friendly (for those with young children)
The GoCity website states that children under 5 do not require a pass, which is true. However, it fails to mention that many attractions still charge child tickets (4-year old), eg.:
London Eye: £38 (child ticket)
Hop-on-hop-off bus: £39 (child ticket)
Madame Tussauds: £38 (child ticket)
These costs can quickly add up, making the GoCity London Pass less cost-effective for families with young children.
