I recently embarked on a journey to undergo a medical procedure abroad, and I couldn't have navigated the process without the invaluable assistance of Deb from Global Travel and Medical.

From start to finish, her professionalism and expertise made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Added to this Deb is a registered nurse which aided in reassuring me that I would be cared for throughout the whole process.

Deb went above and beyond to ensure every detail of my trip, from booking flights to arranging accommodation, coordinating transportation, and ensuring I had the best surgeon at the best facility, was meticulously planned. Deb had extensive knowledge of the medical facilities in Turkey as she had visited them to make sure that they were high standard hospitals with surgeons who knew how to appropriately act if any complications were to occur.

Our private transfer car was gorgeous and always on time to get me to any appointments as well as to and from the airport. The driver, Ismail was exceptionally polite and gave us his WiFi throughout the journey so that we could contact family and friends regarding our arrival. He also let us connect to the speaker so that we could play our own music. Ismail was a great help and made sure we weren’t left confused at any stage. He took us into the reception at the hotel, took us into Dr Umuts clinic and even came in with us to the pharmacy to help sort out my prescription. I am very appreciative of his assistance throughout this process which helped for a smooth trip.

The hospital rooms were spotless and contemporary with lots of space and private so that once I was out of surgery we had our own space while being medically supported.

Throughout the process, Deb remained accessible and responsive, promptly addressing any questions or concerns I had. Her dedication to customer service was evident in every interaction, making me feel supported and reassured throughout the journey. She has been amazing! I couldn’t be more grateful.

I had considered going abroad for this surgery before but was scared because of not knowing where to go and who was best to see and had seen so many horror stories about other people going and being neglected. However, this business is just what is needed to provide extra certainty for those considering a procedure abroad making sure that you are well looked after and any concerns are immediately resolved.

I am an overthinker and worry about everything and nothing was a problem for Deb, she was there for me throughout the whole time and none of my thousands of questions were too much for her😂. Deb is so trustworthy and I am so glad that I booked my procedure with herself.

Thanks to Deb and her team including Dr Arda who also assisted, my medical trip was not only successful but also an enjoyable experience. I returned home and feel so unbelievably grateful for their guidance and thankful for the opportunity to have received excellent medical care in a beautiful country.

Additionally, upon returning from my procedure Deb has been there for me 24/7 and has been checking up on me to make sure recovery is going well. Any concerns I have had she has responded to straight away. Deb has been like a mother to me throughout the whole process checking in on us and making sure that we are protected in every way. Over a year later, when the team was back in the UK, they reviewed my son’s transplant results and even provided PRP injections to enhance the outcome. My son’s hair now looks fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier with the results.
