This was a great walking tour and I would fully thoroughly recommend it as an alternative walking tour. The lady doing the tour definitely knew her musical history of Glasgow. We learnt many things and we're taken to many sites of interest. The old music hall has to be the stand out, but as a Simple Minds fan I enjoyed seeing Barrowlands and the artist pathway at Barrowlands Park.

This is a fantastic guided tour around the music venues of Glasgow that I would highly recommend! The tour guide was really welcoming, enthusiastic and really knew his stuff. He made it so interesting and engaging. It was really fascinating finding out about all the world famous music stars that have had gigs in the city over the years. I would love to do the other tour when I'm next in Glasgow.

One word of warning; it can get a bit chilly/rainy even in the summer months, then sometimes the sun comes out again, so bring a jacket/coat that you can slip on and off or easily carry.

The Glasgow's Music Mile tour is a fun, informative and non-exhausting (if you can take the odd uphill climb) tour of some of the major music locations and legendary venues in the heart of Glasgow, some now sadly gone. Phil was a fantastic tour guide and his lived knowledge of the Glasgow music scene and genuine passion and enthusiasm for that and the city really come through, but his knowledge and love for other musical cities and a variety of genres is infectious. It's well worth spending your Saturday after lunch on!

I received vouchers from a friend and finally managed to book the music mile tour for myself and my husband. Fiona was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable and was great to see photos and hear stories of venues that no longer stand as well as venues that still survive. Nice to learn something new about your home town. Would definitely recommend.
