I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’m truly disappointed with my recent experience with GlasGO Cars.
I was traveling with my family, including my 2.5-year-old child, who was sitting calmly between both parents in the back seat. The driver insisted on forcing a seatbelt on the toddler, which caused him to cry uncontrollably and eventually vomit. Rather than showing understanding, the driver showed clear irritation, pulled over, charged us £35 (including a cleaning fee), and left us on the roadside with our sick child.
I don’t mind paying – but what upset me was the lack of empathy and the cold, rigid attitude from the driver. In such situations, compassion matters more than policy.
Judging by other recent reviews, this is not an isolated issue. The service quality at GlasGO Cars has clearly declined.
I sincerely hope the company will reconsider how it trains its drivers – especially when dealing with young children and families.

People Make Glasgo-Cabs & having chosen to support this local service over Uber, I’ll NOT be making that mistake again. My driver Paul seems to be a deeply unhappy man. Sometimes it’s best to say nothing, rather than giving your disparaging opinions on what young lassies wear on a warm day. As for slagging off my charity 24h hike, suggesting walking the 3 peaks of the UK are just big hills & that I took the ‘tourist’ routes - I will happily accept your view when you have done the same / a similar feat. You can keep your 10% auto-tip, but jeez change your attitude or keep quiet!

Glasgow cabs used to be pretty good but past 6 months service has dropped in a big way. Never on time and sometimes I used to get a text saying driver left as couldn't wait any longer and here's me standing outside waiting on the driver !?

Started using Uber now, it's a bit more but at least you get where you need to be as time in money...

Absolutely dreadful service. Ordered a taxi to airport that arrived nearly 15 minutes late then drove past my house twice and didn't know how to get to airport despite having sat nav.

I have never had a taxi show up when stated on the app. The last straw today was booking a taxi, stated as a 23 minute wait on the app. By the time 50 minutes had elapsed, still no driver assigned, and having missed an important exam.

I'm done with GlasGo cars.

Their estimates are always slightly cheaper than Uber, but miraculously always jump up by ~£2 every time when it comes to paying

Also, their drivers are rude and unfriendly - the opposite of Uber drivers. I believe this is likely as there is zero accountability for GlasGo cars, while Uber drivers have to work hard to keep their ratings up.

Taxi driver refused to take my 2 year old in his taxi. I called and complained and they still charged me for the journey. Horrible company. Should have stopped using them years ago. Lot of the drivers have no clue even with the navigation how to get places

I share the same experience as everyone else, booked a taxi in the app a day in advance. Driver never came after waiting 20 mins and app just said waiting to assign driver. Advise do not use this company
