We've just come back from the holiday of a lifetime in South Africa, thanks to Gilly and her team. She put together an amazing package that was exactly what we wanted and suited us perfectly - she even suggested a good place to stop for coffee on our drive along the Garden Route (my son requested we stop again on the way back because the onion rings were so good!). Accommodation was all fabulous - see pictures for views from our windows!! Thank you for a organising a fantastic holiday for us all!

Trying to coordinate a family holiday abroad for three generations, and three families from different locations around the UK was proving to be a nightmare. From our first zoom meeting I intuitively knew I was in safe hands with Gilly. She asked the right questions and paid attention to every little detail. Most importantly took the stress away from planning and trying to please everyone. The hotel she recommended exceeded our expectations when we got there - It could not be more perfect!

Fabulous service from both Gilly and Steph when booking our summer holiday in Mauritius. Numerous concerns arose (last minute airport strikes, airline last minute flight changes, hotel reconfiguration etc, nothing to do with Gilly and her service delivery) which we bounced these concerns off them both, and they were all dealt with in an understanding and professional manner. Gilly also provided some wonderful local knowledge she had gained first hand herself when visiting the island and the hotel, which greatly aided us in maximizing our enjoyment of a wonderful holiday experience. We’ve booked a number of holidays through Gilly over the years and each one has been carefully planned for us and have been fantastic! Our major highlight holidays that Gilly planned for us was our 10 night stay at Ikos Olivia in Greece for our wedding in May 2023, along with also sorting all of our wedding party too! Gilly and Stephanie had printed all of the documents out that we needed so that we didn’t need to stress about anything (it was great thank you!!). She also planned our multi-centre honeymoon of our dreams which was a few places in Canada followed by an incredible cruise around Alaska. We had no idea what we wanted to do for our honeymoon and Gilly sat down with us and went through various different destination ideas and inspiration. Gilly has such an eye for detail and is extremely knowledgeable. She has travelled so much and is able to help you with recommendations and itineraries. A few years ago we decided to take our three adult/late teen children on a long haul holiday (which we had never done before having holidayed in Europe throughout their childhood). Having not done long haul since pre children and not having a particular destination in mind I decided to use a couple of independent travel agents recommended by a friend. The first lady she recommended just didn’t listen to me properly despite a lengthy email with some fairly exact requirements so after trying with her over the course of a week (only via email) I decided to give up and contact Gilly who she also recommended. What a breath of fresh air. I sent the same email to Gilly, she contacted me immediately to arrange a zoom meeting later that week and needless to say she totally understood the level and type of hotel and amenities I was interested in and recommended Mauritius. Her in depth knowledge of the island and the Beachcomber hotels impressed us and we particularly liked the travel “brochure” she sent us on our chosen hotel so we could digest all the information at our leisure. After booking we needed to postpone the holiday by a year as our youngest daughter had to have a kidney transplant and we felt we couldn’t relax properly in the run up. Gilly handled everything for us. That would have been extremely stressful if I had booked the holiday myself. When we eventually made it to Mauritius Gilly had liaised with the catering manager regarding special dietary requirements for our daughter post transplant and also our son who is gluten free. She also arranged a private candlelit anniversary dinner on the beach for my husband and I. The hotel was magical (Troux aux Biches) and all generations throughly enjoyed it. The staff were exemplary and when we couldn’t find one of our daughter’s anti rejection drugs (fell out in overhead cabin on BA), the Villa Manager calmly contacted hospitals and GPs and the medication arrived within the hour. That alone would make us return but truly we couldn’t fault a thing. When it came to planning a holiday for our 30th wedding anniversary this year it was obviously to Gilly we turned as we know whatever hotel she recommends will not only match our list of requirements but will most likely excel. We can now sit back and relax as Gilly will handle everything for us. Simply fabulous.

I used Gilly to book a trip to Iceland for myself and my son and can’t thank her and Stephanie enough for the excellent service we received. Not only was the hotel exactly what we wanted, the trips that were booked were all superb - even with a slight change of plan due to the impending volcanic eruption. We were kept up to date at all times and I had 100% confidence that we could rely on Gilly/Stephanie to be on hand should we need anything. I was so impressed I have just booked my next trip to Portal Nous with Gilly too.
