Loved our day on the Antrim Coast with Barry. The weather was not great but we made the best of it. We visited Carrickfergus Castle, several GoT sites (including the dark hedges), the Carrick-a-rede swinging bridge and Giants Causeway. I never felt rushed and had sufficient time to see each site and do what I wanted to do!

We also loved our Cab tour covering the Troubles. We did this one with Paula (who happens to be Barry’s wife). She has lived
through the troubles!

I would definitely use Giants Causeway tours again. This isn’t some large tour company, this is family owned and their genuine nature shines through!

Both tours were outstanding--the political tour of Belfast with Barry and the full-day Derry tour with Paula. We wanted to deepen my knowledge of the Troubles and got to do that on both tours. What struck us most was how deeply personal the events were felt and explained and we especially appreciated the respect for the victims as each one was named during the course of the tours.. We highly recommend both tours. We learned a lot, felt a lot, and were enthralled by what we learned.

This review is long overdue, it’s for the Giant’s Causeway tour my family and I took last July. Barry was our guide, and he was so friendly and engaging. He really taught us a lot about the area and every stop along the tour. I loved that he shared my enthusiasm about Game of Thrones. The locations we went to were very scenic and interesting. My favorite parts of the tour were the Carrick-A-Rede rope bridge and the Giant’s Causeway. Excellent tour, highly recommend!

Great day trip to Derry with Barry, Paula, Nigel and JR. We were a group of 22 on a university trip, and Barry set up a great itinerary for us and provided lux transport in 4 Mercedes vans. My students enjoyed their conversations with our 4 hosts the best, as it gave them insiders' view to the complicated history of the troubles. A great visit to Derry, where we enjoyed a really focused and informative walking tour and visit to the Free Derry museum. Thank you Barry, Paula, Nigel and JR! This was one of the highlights of our time in Ireland and the 6 Counties.

super tour with Barry & Paula. we doubled up and went for a day trip to the northern coast, stopping at Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge. then the next day, enjoyed the Belfast history tour. overall ideal experience for the family or a small group.

Four Southport UK school friends from the 1960’s (70 odd year old big kids who never really grew up!!) flew into Belfast for a 3 day re-union. We were collected by Barry spot on time at the airport, then the coastal tour, up to the Giants Causeway then back to our hotel on day one. Plus all the information and Irish history “that we didn’t know” was really informative. Specially about where to get a good pint of Guinness! Then on day 2 Barry’s lovely wife Paula gave us a real eye opening “Troubles Tour” dropping us at the Titanic Museum - again included. Another great attraction and well worth visiting. We had a wonderful tour with Barry of Giants Causeway and the Peace Walls of Belfast. He was very willing to accommodate our special request to see and antique store. The day was really informative and totally enjoyable.

This tour was worth every penny! Our guides Paula and Barry were amazing! They were knowledgeable, gave us plenty of time at each place and were so friendly! They also brought us to the best local pub to eat and the food was amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a better day!
