👍 Reviews of George Street Car Park/ Thursday Market

George Street Car Park/ Thursday Market - Hebden Bridge

Visited this busy little market while on a day trip to Calderdale. It's located in a pay and display car park (4 hours maximum stay) that is closed Thursday to Sunday when the market is taking place. Although small, it had a good variety of stalls ranging from home essentials to beautiful crafts, textiles and jewellery. Several food vendors selling local produce, plus an Indian street food stand and a Greek deli where you could taste different types of olives. Loved the cheeses and baked goodies! The traders were very friendly. The market is surrounded by beautiful historic buildings, nice independent shops and eateries.
