Alhamdulilah another fantastic well organised tour by Gatwick Hajj and Umrah. Just returned from the Uzbekistan tour (20 to 30 August 2024) visiting Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara. These cities and land that is now Uzbekistan was once at the heart of the ancient Silk Road trade route connecting China with the Middle East and Europe.

Our tour guides were knowledgeable, providing interesting insights into the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan as well as their understanding of the Islamic heritage that brings tourists to visit significant sites such as Shahi Zinda, Hast Quran Complex and Imam al Bukhari mausoleum.

I cannot really describe how beautiful these cities are, you need to see it with your own eyes to appreciate it.

Gatwick Hajj and Umrah ensured our stay was comfortable, from 4-5 star hotels in each locations, food, transportation and their guidance. Well done to the team. Looking forward to the next trip In’Sha’Allah.

I just came back from Uzbekistan trip with a Gatwick Travels group and I must say I had an amazing, exciting and wonderful holiday! The experience cannot be described into words. I felt like I was taken back into time while visiting and exploring so many interesting places. The group was diverse from all ages and backgrounds. We began the trip as strangers and left the trip as friends. The itinerary was full of exciting places to visit and amazing Uzbekistan experiences. The guides were lovely and friendly providing interesting insight into the history and culture of the country. The hotels were great. Travelling our way through the Silk Road route from Tashkent to Samarkand and Bukhara was breath-taking and exciting. Learning about Uzbek’s Islamic history and visiting historic places as well as the graves and shrines of important prominent figures has been an enlightening experience. Special thanks to the Gatwick Travels team for putting together an amazing tour and catering to everyone. It’s not easy when having a large group but you did it, making everyone comfortable and the trip fun and enjoyable for the whole group. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.
