The Game of Thrones Tours Winterfell Trek from Belfast on April 16, 2025 - raining for most of the day but the tour guide Robbie kept our spirits up and our eyes on the prize. Ended the day at Inch Abbey where we pledged fealty to the King in the North while dressed in cloaks and wielding sword replicas of the ones used in GOT. I had a blast. Winterfell Trek and Iron Island & Giant's Causeway Tours are currently being held twice a week. I was in Belfast for only four days otherwise I probably would have signed up for the other tour.

What an incredible experience! Our 12-day trip to Ireland was unforgettable, and the highlights were definitely both of the Game of Thrones tours.

The coach tour from Belfast to the Iron Islands and Giant’s Causeway with Robbie was amazing. We traveled along the stunning Northern Ireland coast, visiting iconic locations like the steps in Carnlough, Cushendun Caves, the Iron Islands & Dragonstone beach, Giant’s Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and the Dark Hedges.

The private car tour with Richard the Wildling was truly unbelievable. Our stops at Inch Abbey, Ward Castle (Winterfell), and Tollymore Forest were especially memorable.

I highly recommend the private car tour with Richard. The one-on-one experience with someone who spent years on set with the cast and crew made it even more special!

We originally booked the Iron Islands and
Giants Causeway tour but unfortunately due to staff sickness, we were informed 2 days prior that due to staff sickness they had to cancel this tour. We felt disappointed but managed to book a similar tour with a different company on a different day. Game of Thrones Tours offered us a tour to do the Winterfell Trek which we accepted and was the best decision we had made! Our tour guide, Andrew, absolutely made our day and deserves all the credit. His charismatic personality and story telling was captivating and enjoyed listening about his experiences as the most used extra on GOT. His passion and love shows and is infectious. The tour sites were fun, interactive, informative and beautiful. Thank you for the best day in Belfast.

What an incredible experience for any Game of Thrones fan! Our guide, Robbie, spoke about the series in a way that showcased his genuine passion for it, sharing his personal experiences as an extra and how the show shaped the community of Belfast. The places we went were so beautiful and historically interesting in their own right in addition to being filming locations for big moments in GOT. As a longtime fan, I got emotional seeing Winterfell, castle Frey, and the forests of the north in person. Robbie was so funny, upbeat, and high-energy throughout, always willing to answer any and all questions, geek out about fan theories, and talk us through other parts of North Ireland's history. I absolutely loved this tour, and plan to book the Iron Islands tour if I'm ever back in the area. The North remembers 🙂

Went on the Winterfell Trek. The tour was great. Very organised. The guide, Andrew, was an extra on the show and had lots of stories about his time as an extra and about what happens behind the scenes. He was very well prepared, had still shots from Game of Thrones and showed us where these scenes happened and how they shot it. He had lots of stories about the main actors and how they were behind the scenes. Never a dull moment with Andrew. Overall, very highly recommended and really enjoyed the tour. Next time definitely going for the Giant's Causeway tour with them again 👍
