Lovely little site! First impressions weren’t great. Pitches very close to each other. But it was lovely. Nice clean toilet facilities, only one shower, but as the site is so small, it wasn’t an issue. Drinking water on each pitch. Bonus. A short walk to the beach, and a lovely little town. Thank you, we will be back.

Not Good.|Just back today from a stay on this caravan park, a small site with fifteen pitches. The location of it is fabulous with a short walk to Cemaes, a lovely beach that is half dog friendly.|The quality of the site is poor; the pitches are not 3 metres apart. During our stay we witnessed a caravan and a motorhome not even a metre and a half apart. To my knowledge nobody checked to see if people were correctly parked. The pitches are small and only a couple cater for larger caravans. |The new toilet and shower block are cleaned only once a day and the staff who clean them are only in them for about fifteen minutes and gone, so you can guess what state they were in on the couple of occasions that we went to use them but didn't.|We had to ask for the dog poo bins to be emptied as they were overflowing as were the refuse bins themselves, there was rubbish all over the floor.|There is a man who mows the lawns, but the grounds need some TLC.|The overall view is that it needs some time and effort to bring it up to a standard that you pay a very high price to stay there.|The restaurant however is excellent. The flavours of the food are amazing. The presentation excellent.Staff are lovely too. So I would visit to eat but not caravan.

Booked a three night pitch here. I’ll start with the positives. The pitches are very flat. They have water and electricity nThe hotel on site is nice and the location is great. However. The negatives for me outweighed and I probably won’t be back. It is £44 a night which is top end. For this you get one on site shower, which is small and quite dated. This is one shower not a block and 2 toilets with a shared tiny sink. There is no pot wash facilities and the pitches are quite small. Some don’t have enough room for an awning. When I asked about the lack of facilities the staff said everyone is self sufficient now. Clearly never seen the size of a campervan sink

Clean and tidy site , beautiful views and great access to village . Ate at the hotel which was lovely .
I sadly agree the pitches are slightly small - 2 of the pitches had family and friends visiting which meant that was all we could hear.
One shower per sex is not enough , nowhere to wash pots or dry hair meant would most likely not return.

My pitch was very small, covered in weeds around the lovely planted borders but weed killer had been used around the gravel areas killing the grass edges. Hedges needed cutting, looked very unkempt. Only 1 shower . No bins on the site, you have to walk to the hotel to use theirs. Very disappointing for the high price charged. Very handy to get onto the coastal path which was my reason for booking. Can't recommend for any other reason.

As the campsite is within the grounds of a 4* hotel and is £44.00 a night, we had hoped for a lovely experience. The location is perfect as it's just a short walk into the lovely village and overnight the site was quiet. There is no motorhome grey waste drive over as all the pitches are serviced, however as our pitch sloped away from the grey waste drain it was impossible to run our waste water directly into the drain. The 'Brand New Deluxe Toilet & Shower Facility' was a scruffy portacabin that could do with a good clean. There was just one shower, two toilets and one sink for women and the same for men which led to queues at busy times. The dog poo bin was full so I asked at reception for it to be emptied, this wasn't done and by the time we left there were smelly poo bags on the floor. The recycling and waste facility is at the back of the hotel and I was shocked to see overflowing bins and food on the floor - it's no wonder a previous reviewer had seen a rat on the site. It's such a shame as it could be a great site.

Went here for lunch, nice place & ok food. Decent pub grub & no complaints.|Facilities all nice & clean and didn’t look tired/worn at all.|However, the bloke behind the bar serving us was one of the most miserable people I’ve met in a long time, not the best customer experience. |If you have to be a sourpuss & answer everything like I’ve just run over your dog why not stay behind the scenes or get a different job?||Would I go back: if I knew he wouldn’t be serving me, maybe
