£26.70 for a 6/7 minute journey from Abbeywood Estate to the local premier inn. A convenient £10 surcharge for being “out of the area” but naturally no reduced price for their being 20 minutes late to pick us up earlier in the day. We look forward to your apologies and an appropriate level of compensation.

Brilliant service. !!!. Airport transfers to and return from Liverpool Airport. 1st one at 3.30 am to Liverpool. The Driver Graeme was on time for pick up. Courteous and pleasant guy. 2nd return from Airport to Runcorn. @19.00. Same experience think his name was Steve. All at a competitive set price. Will definitely be using this firm again.

The lady of this cab was extremely disrespectful and very very intimidating. She parked next to my car and caused a dent to it. Denied doing so even though my partner was in the car and witnessed it all. She was swearing way too much and loosing her temper over a matter that could be solved calmly. AVOID GETTING IN HER CAB, I wouldn’t trust her at all!!!!!

Booked a taxi in advance to meet me on arrival at Manchester airport. No show. Contact company to be told it would be half an hour wait for another one to arrive. Totally defeats the point of booking a taxi in advance. Extremely poor - no wonder there is loss of business to uber.

Can’t fault this firm at all- we are a disabled household and use district 2/3 times per day. All the drivers know us and go above and beyond to help in anyway they can. John the owner is fantastic and Mia has always always dealt with any concerns promptly and swiftly. Wouldn’t use another firm now and this is a GENUINE review before anyone else says the reviews aren’t real. Highly recommended from my house and we couldn’t and wouldn’t have coped without district taxis! Thank you!

Not used this company for a while but we will do again. Had an immediate text confirmation with a reference number. Taxi arrived in perfect time. Very clean vehicle. Very pleasant driver. All highly recommended.

Would not recommend. Pre-booked a taxi from Manchester airport to helsby, was told to call when we land, fine. Called when we landed and told them had no baggage and we were on our way to security, was then told to ring them when we got through security (?) Called them when got through security, to then be told they were, only then, dispatching a driver from frodsham now. Given we had no baggage (which we told them at time of booking and every subsequent call after) we were out the airport within 20 mins of landing. Had to wait 40 minutes in the cold for a taxi we had prebooked Website advertises £33 from Manchester to helsby, yet we were charged £39? Avoiding for airport runs moving forward and would not recommend. (Booking reference 1059436 given previous reviews have stated similar below and then been accused of not being genuine reviews)
