Great coastal walks with views over to the port to watch the incoming passenger ships but the paths could be better maintained as there was a lot of wet mud around at the time which was very slippery even with proper footwear. The path can be tiresome for the older folk though as it contains steep inclines which had steps in parts but it can still be a challenge.

Gorgeous views over fishguard. Only about a 2 minute walk from the car park, which has enough room for a handful of cars. The car park is free of charge, which is a bonus. You can easily get lost in the peaceful scenery. The kids loved it! Also access to the coastal walk from the car park.

A small fort just outside Fishguard with terrific views out to sea. Easy access from the car park just over five minutes away although it is uphill on the way back. Several old cannons in place and according to the information board housed searchlights during WW2.
