I wanted to get away from it all and I got my wish. Find Me Out cottage is 3 miles inside the Craigengillan Estate. It is a lovely place to stay for peace and quiet, and it is very private. The cottage was well equipped with plenty space. The furniture reflected the country theme and I loved the aga in the kitchen. Dogs are welcome and Mr Dog had many adventures as there are so many walks to go on and some lovely views. It is tick season so have your dog prepared for that and it will be fine. There is a lovely garden to sit in with a burn running through it. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely go back.

This place is absolutely lovely. It's 3 miles into the Craigengillan Estate and the cottage is is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to get away from it all. You can walk for miles within the estate and the views are lovely. Dogs are welcome and my dog had a great time. I didn't want to come home and will definitely go back.

Abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana, dal 13 Agosto al 20 agosto 2022, io e mia figlia in questo delizioso cottage che ci riporta al vero contatto con la natura.
Una pecca : la pulizia!
Molta polvere ovunque, talmente stratificata, che era lì da tempo e... ragnatele alle finestre, vetri sporchi, tovaglia plastificata sul tavolo della cucina, unta e sporca.
Ecco, sarebbe opportuno anche avere qualche asciugamano in più e lasciare i termosifoni accesi di notte.
A proposito, Mark aveva promesso le uova che... non sono mai arrivate!!
