A big shoutout to Cristín Lambert at FCCT who helped us plant a commemorative tree. She was so quick to respond, help us source the perfect tree, pick a perfect spot and helped us plant the tree. Very touchingly she also took the time to create a name plate especially for the tree. We’ll forever be indebted to her and her kindness and hope the tree thrives and nature surrounds it. Thank you Cristín you are an asset to FCCT and a special human being!

The toilets here are most definitely the best in town. Always clean and smelling fresh. Soap dispensers, toilet roll and hand towels are always full. A well needed pit stop on route along the coastal path. Toilets are in the harbour masters house which has a lovely cafe also.

It's a small harbour, easily accessible with a medium sized car park adjacent.

The harbour itself is all on one level with no stairs or door levels, making wheelchair and other mobility issues visit fully able to come and visit.

The old Harbour House is now a cafe and visitor centre run by Fife Coast and Countryside Trust.

They do a decent coffee and from what I remember from a few years back the food is to a good standard, if a little pricey.

Walking around the harbour also gives access to the beaches within the Ravenscraig Park as well as the park itself.

I believe there are public toilets in the harbour area but I've never seen them open!!

I've noticed recently that caller came well seem to be staying overnight, as they seem in no hurry to move on, of take a guess that it is a safe stay for a night or two.

There's not much more can be said about this location as it is basic, although it is reasonably busy, mostly I suspect from people wanting to visit Outlander filming locations.

I really enjoy coming down here with my family. Great to relax, its picturesque, coffee shop to have a bite to eat and with Ravenscraig Park close by, you could have a nice day out. I wouldn't recommend the coffee shop at the harbour master house though. I have had a lot better at better prices too, but that's not going to stop me coming down here again

We visited the café/ restaurant and enjoyed a delicious light lunch and tasty coffee. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming and it's a nice, bright conversion of a former fishing building. Look out for its late openings on Friday nights for dinner.
