Have just recently purchased a used Fiat 500 Star from their Hemel Hempstead branch and am very pleased with the overall experience.

I bought a car from this dealership six weeks ago, and it's been a complete disaster. After just 16 days, the engine warning light came on. I immediately called the garage, and they told me to bring it in. To be safe, I had the AA inspect it firstthey confirmed the faults, and I relayed exactly what was wrong to the dealership.

Instead of fixing the issue, they lied about ordering the part, making me take a day off work and drive two hours to their garageonly to tell me they hadn't even started the repair. They then kept my car for two weeks, returning it with new damage: a smashed rear light, deep scratches down the side, and scuffed alloys. When I confronted Mo, he blamed me, claiming the damage was already there (it wasn'tI had proof).

After refusing to accept the car, they did a cheap, botched repair (a badly fitted light and poorly touched-up alloy). Jake Palmer promised me a 1-year warranty extension as compensation, but now the dealership is ignoring my calls and refusing to honour it.

Out of six weeks of ownership, I've only had my car for 8 days the rest of the time it's been stuck in their garage. I need a reliable car for work, and this experience has caused me huge stress and inconvenience.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. They sell faulty cars, mislead customers, cause avoidable damage, and then ghost you when you demand accountability. Worst car-buying experience of my life.

I was helped by a lovely young lady called Billie. As I am a distance buyer, she very kindly made me an excellent and detailed video of the vehicle with an accompanying verbal description. She made the whole process very pleasant and I felt at ease and confident in my decision to purchase the used Fiat 500. Absolutely love the customer service you get at palmers, I didn’t even want to buy a car but just had a couple questions about some stuff and charlie was brilliant, treated me the same as everyone even though I wasn’t buying, will be recommending charlie to my friends for doing such a good job

I brought the Fiat 500 car because I saw that the gearbox wasn't working well and before the red light came on in the dashboard I preferred to take it to have a look... but they are INCOMPETENT half a day to check £200 where they call me and say that the car is in perfect condition, no anomalies... after 5 months the gearbox fell apart. and now I need a specialist… thanks to Palmer Hemel Hempstead I don't recommend them to anyone…
