We booked La Ferme chalet in Ardent for a family ski trip with three generations. It was such an ideal location and cosy chalet - metres from the gondola and the only apres ski bar but surrounded by peaceful fields and views of the mountains. Family Ski staff were so friendly and helpful; the food was exceptionally good. Our grandson joined the Power Pups ski school which provided morning ski lessons followed by fun activities and he loved it! I can wholeheartedly recommend Family Ski and Ardent.

Family Ski is just brilliant. We are experienced skiers with 2 young children and wanted a ski holiday that actually felt like a holiday for us grown-ups too! After some research we booked with Family Ski in Ardent, and loved it so much we booked for a second and third year. The childcare is fantastic, we have used the Pups crèche and the Hounds and our children have loved it, they have so much fun. They have both done really well learning to Ski, and the extra support for the very young ones while they’re at ski school is brilliant. What we particularly love is the food and drink! The chalet hosts’ cooking skills are just amazing. Fabulous home cooked 3 course meals and canapés served each night with fantastic wines. A wonderful breakfast is served each morning, and a sweet treat waiting for you when you get back in the afternoon from a ‘hard day on the slopes’ - perfect with a cuppa and a dip in the hot tub overlooking the mountains! It’s so lovely to be able introduce our children to skiing with a bit of ‘added luxury’. Everyone is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I cannot recommend this company enough for skiing with children. They have a great set up in a quiet valley with brilliant access to the slopes.
We have now been with them for 12 years and our children are teenagers. They have been through pups, hounds and adventurers which have all been well run. The kids have been happy which makes us content to leave them in very capable hands.
The chalets are all lovely. Well equipped and comfortable. The hosts each each have been fantastic. The company makes sure to pick excellent people.
We are sad to be saying goodbye for the last time but ready for our next adventure of skiing together next year.
We would all say if you want to have a great ski holiday with kids then book Family Ski Company every time.

Absolutely wonderful! The most perfect holiday, the hosts couldn’t do more and the kids staff were so fantastic, our son and daughter couldn’t have loved them more, asking to go back to the kids club when we collected them. Ardent was a real find too, so perfect as a family. See you again family ski!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Family Ski at Chalet Claudia in Reberty during the first week of the season. From start to finish, the service was outstanding, and the team went above and beyond to make our holiday stress-free and enjoyable.

Our two little boys, aged 2 and 3, were so well looked after and truly loved their time with the team. What really stood out was that we never felt pressured to book our 3-year-old into ski lessons, even though he was the right age. It was refreshing to have the freedom to make decisions that felt right for our family without any sales push.

The staff were always happy to help, no matter the request. They added thoughtful, personal touches throughout our stay—helping us with our luggage, entertaining our children whilst we were getting ready, and creating arts/crafts which we’ll keep to remind us of our first family ski holiday. These small moments made a big difference to our overall experience.

We’re already looking forward to coming back next year for another fun-filled, stress-free family holiday. Huge thanks to the entire team for making this trip so memorable!

Thank you for a wonderful time at Chalet Genevieve, Reberty. Fantastic skiing area - too much to do in a week when you are lucky with the ski conditions (as we were). Location perfect for the slopes, great facilities - warm ski and boot room, laundry, cosy bedroom with good storage space, lovely lounge area with open fire, excellent food (and plenty of it)but most of all, cheerful, welcoming staff. We didn't bring any ourselves but there is clearly plenty for small children to do. Overall, a great holiday, and we have recommended the Family Si Company to our friends.

We stayed at the Chalet Plagnat in Ardent with Family Ski. The location within the village was superb - piste, gondola, restuarant, bar and two ski shops all within a hundred metres of the front door. Ardent also proved to be a good choice within the wider area - it had decent snow cover right down to the village while the neighbouring resorts of Morzine and Les Gets (at a similar height) were almost entirely green.

Our hosts were excellent. The food was restaurant quality, the wine was well-chosen and free flowing. Little touches like canapes before dinner gave it a more luxurious feel than the mainstream tour operators we've used before at a similar price point.

What really stood out was the hosts' flexible and easy-going approach. The menu was tailored to our kids' likes and dislikes. Dinner for the adults was seamlessly timed to whenever we finished putting the kids to bed. It genuinely felt like nothing was too much trouble.

Despite being heavily geared towards the needs of families with young children, it never felt like we were living in a creche. Simple things like a safe and secure environment where the children could be left upstairs in the room ensured that the adults enjoyed it as much as the kids.

None of this is rocket science, but it was that ability to absolutely nail the basics while going above and beyond in other areas that set Family Ski apart from any other company we've used in the past 20 years.

Just finishing a week at chalet Imogen in Reberty. We stayed with family ski previously as part of wider group at chalet Jazz. We had a lovely time and rebooked based on that experience with friends new to family ski. But not this visit. The nursery staff were great with our 13 month old son and Ottilie and Ruby our hosts were lovely and very accommodating. But they did not have support and resources needed, not as had been the case on our previous visit. The chalet was unacceptably cold in the lounge, other guests who become our friends put their children to bed in circa 11 degrees (as measured on their baby monitor) in thermals and hoodies. We were told they would turn on the underfloor heating (why would that be turned off?!?) which never came on. They supplied and electric heater for the lounge which was warm but less than ideal with babies shuffling around as hot and unsafe. We felt Family Ski has cut back on staff (less than we had had previously, same cost to us though) and resources since our last visit. We also booked the chalet looking forward to the hot tub after skiing which was cold on the Monday after our return from the slopes arriving late Sunday. It warmed up the following nights but not cool (no pun intended). Our heating problems were not solved throughout our stay, and this is not premium. Fix it family ski, you used to great, but this was poor and we won’t be back. For the money this isn’t worth it. As said before it’s not premium as was sold and experienced before. My partner dealt with head office when booking who once had our money seemed to change totally to not caring. The care from them was not felt since taking our cash, even when I posted a poor review about the heating 3 days in on trust pilot nothing changed. Stayed under my partners name Ducker (in case family ski attempt to deny my holiday as appears to be the case with so many other reviews), took pictures of the staff manual as don’t want this dismissed as I didn’t stay when we have. I can of course supply of the details if needed. Please please fix it. Nothing worse than feeling like you’ve wasted money and time on something that should have been amazing but wasn’t.
