Second year in a row taking our kids to the chateau. Outstanding time had by all. The staff go above and beyond to make everyone welcome, and to keep everyone having fun. Still the best family holiday we've been on and would highly recommend to other families who like laughs, chat and fun.

I have been for two consecutive years (2018-2019) to Normandy Adventure La Grand Ferme Holiday with Family Adventure Holidays and enjoyed every moment.
The fact that you have every day organized activities and not concerning that your kids will not be bored also the food which is excellently prepared will create that feeling to come back again.
The staff working there it's very friendly and helpful (Estelle, Charlie, Pascal the chef, Susan, Chris just to mention a few names) I could say without any restraints that these persons are like a family to me.

We had an amazing time at the Chateau. The staff are fantastic and really get the kids involved and have fun themselves. The food is great as well as the craft beer on tap and homemade cider. We played French games well into the night. Kids are super safe and had a great time exploring the estate and hanging out together and making new friends. It is a very happy place that is ideal for all the family.

We've just got home, Aug 2023, from the best holiday we've ever had.
The rooms are very basic, but clean. But very comfortable compared to camping!
The Château team are incredible, friendly and so much fun. The activities are great, something for everyone. The food and drink were of a good standard, and dietary requirements were dealt with well. The day at the quick sands was really fun despite the drizzle. What we didn't expect was to meet the nicest bunch of holidayers. The environment is set up for fun and friendship!

This was our third trip to the Chateau and we were delighted to be back after the enforced break! Every year we think we've had the best week ever and every year it just gets better. The activities are always great and pitched perfectly for the different age groups. I was there with the kids on my own this time and it was an ideal way to spend the week as a family. What really makes it 5* are the staff and fellow guests. Everyone is there to have fun and to make sure the kids have the best week ever and the by product of that is that the adults also have a blast. I suspect my kids will demand we return next year and I'm sure we will. Thoroughly recommend this holiday to those with active children - as a parent you rarely get a genuine break from childcare this fun (no cooking, no cleaning, free wine!) and your kids will love it! Thanks to all the Family Adventure team from the Majors (44, 12, 10 and 7)! See you next year!

What an amazing experience. Having spent a week here, we are all desperate to return. The location and chateau are wonderful, the grounds seem never ending, but what makes it so special is the atmosphere which is created by the wonderful staff.

They have a knack of making you feel comfortable immediately, every activity both interesting, fun, safe and yet with the enthusiasm as if its the first time they have ever done it.

The children loved it, we loved it, and have told all our friends about it. Cannot recommend this enough. We've done fancy expensive trips elsewhere, but this really was the holiday we will never forget.

Fabulous place in a beautiful setting. There's so much to do for all ages and the activities are really well organised to bring out the fun factor as much as possible. There are no hidden costs, there's plenty of food, and you can join in as much it as little as you like. What really makes this holiday special though is the wonderful staff. They are all so fun, kind, energetic, and entertaining, and they genuinely seem to want you you have the best holiday experience ever. For us, the only negative was that a very large group of families all known to each other (many from previous holidays there) had happened to book for our week. The adults were all really friendly but an unintended consequence was that the kids felt a bit excluded from the pre-formed friendship groups, and it was particularly hard on our teenager. I'm told that this is an exception and that it's usually just visited by individual families. I doubt that FAH would even have been aware of this in advance. I would put out a plea to those who have been before to keep your groups to a maximum of two or three families at a time, so as to give the kids from new families a chance to have as much fun as your kids!

On day one my son, 7, asked if we could come back next week, and then the week after and then the week after that until we lived at the Chateau permanently. I had spent the previous 6 months worrying that he wouldn't join in...! The staff were so wonderful at engaging and befriending the children. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
