Consistently terrible. Few good drivers, but 99% of the time have a bad experience. Today I booked through the app, put a note for the driver that I wanted to pay card (you can pay directly through the app with your card but this doesn’t work for me anymore even though it used to) taxi came all was well then halfway through the journey the driver asked if I could pay cash, I said no, apologised and again said I wanted to pay card (despite the fact he already knew that) the driver then tried to coax me into paying card with various excuses that the machine doesn’t always work etc and even suggest cash machines near my destination that he could stop at. Wasn’t taking no for an answer so had to just say I didn’t have my card to get him to stop hounding me for it. Lo and behold, card machine worked fine no issues. Not the first time this has happened, hence why I put in the notes I’m paying with card but clearly hasn’t worked.

Previously had another issue with them where I got in a taxi at the rank in Falkirk and the taxi smelled heavily of urine, no acknowledgement or apology from the driver and I spent most of the journey with my head out the window trying not to be sick. Refuse to believe driver couldn’t smell it either it was that bad. Used the contact us section on the site to ask for their complaints policy and where was best to send it, got a reply really quickly saying send it here, sent complaint back and received another quick reply saying the driver had finished for the night but they would look into this in the morning. Never heard back, waited two weeks to give them plenty time before emailing again and that second email was sent a few weeks ago and I’ve still not got a response!

These are just recent too, I could keep going but I think this paints a picture of what your experience will most likely look like when booking with express.

Absolute joke. Been told it's gonna be within 10mins, after 30mins I called them and asked where's the driver, suddenly they said they have no drivers and haven't sent one even tho I got told it's gonna be within 10mins, absolute disgrace of a business, better use other taxi services as this one isn't reliable and may only cause you troubles...

I got taxi with a slight drink on me driver tried it on short changing me by£10 I tuned him in.. disappointed

What a scam! New to area, downloaded app, first ride supposed to be prepaid on app and driver told me to cancel the ride and pay directly. Then after I told him to cancel ride and got out of the cab, I got charged! The head office said they would reimbursed but never did. Now have to take them to court, completely dishonest company seemingly at all levels.

Dont even want to give 1 star!! Express used to be good but theyre getting to be a joke of a company. They are good if you live in the immediate Falkirk area. Advertise as being in Bo'ness and Linlithgow but if you want a taxi from there at the weekends they won't allow you to book. Who runs big taxi companies but won't allow regular users to book Tell you to call back in 20 minutes then when you call back you get told to call back in half an hour. Weve walked back in that time and it's not a pleasant walk for 2 older people. Also some cars stink of cigarette smoke and we frequently get drivers that don't really know where to go. IF you manage to get a taxi (and that's a BIG IF) it's followed by a message saying "Next time why not use our app" and that doesn't work for us out here either!!! For anyone wanting to officially complain, make your complaint to the council using drivers ID and plate number which should be visible on rear passenger windows. Express won't do anything to the drivers as they just want their money and don't really care about customer service. Its a shame that service from one of the biggest taxi companies innthe area has gone so downhill and I feel really sorry for the few pleasant drivers we've had.

Book a mini bus in advance to take 4 people and 8 cases to train station. Booked for 11.45 for 12 train. ( all this fully explained when booking 6 days in advance) 1 car turned up at 11.50. The driver was lovely but nothing to do with him. Office says 1 car ordered. Driver says no it says on system 2 cars or mini bus. I will not book with this company again.
