We've stayed in or near Pitlochry many times but Oct. 2018 was the first at Squirrel Cottage. First class accommodation, possibly the best equipped self catering we have stayed in. Can certainly recommend, lovely quiet spot to stay in a great area.

We stayed at Squirrel Cottage, Pitlochry, and can highly recommend a stay. Beautiful comfortable cottage with lots of personal touches to make your stay enjoyable. Owners very helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Cottage is lovely and is great for watching the various wildlife; the red squirrels are so entertaining. Ideally placed to visit various attractions in the locality - Blair Castle is a must. Would love to return one day.

We spent a wonderful time in the Squirrel Cottage in 2017. The peace and quiet, the hundreds of birds, the squirrels, the sound of the stream running next to the house made it a place out of thousands. Nice and comfortable furniture, a nice well supplied kitchen, a big bedroom with an unique view on the little pond with birds and (again) squirrels. We enjoyed our stay so much that we came back in 2018. We can truely and sincerely recommend the Squirrel Cottage.

Have stayed twice in Squirrel cottage and will be looking to stay again, a lovely home from home. More information available for things to do and places to visit than you can fit in in a weeks stay! All in all a wonderful place for a very relaxing break.

The 12 page guide produced by Explore Scotland Ltd was an invaluable aid to visiting Pitlochry and the surrounding area it is full of very useful local information and colourful well illustrated maps. Small enough to fold into your pocket and large enough to be useable as required.
