How can you justify keeping a vehicle over two hours, without a single pallet coming off. It's a disgrace. First excuse, two in front, fair enough, then shift change, now no space!! Well thanks for nothing, I'm now in danger of letting my own customer down due to EV Cargo's incompetence

Very rude.
I am a HGV driver. I have driven for 'Downton' many times with pleasure.
I contacted EV cargo. What a disappointment.
Every person I spoke to was rude, deceitful and lacking any care.
The complete opposite to How Downton was.

Right from the start this company never stuck to their end of the deal with Downton.

Very sad to see such an honest company to be taken by EV Cargo.

While ev cargo have some great drivers who take pride in how they operate, YOU lot certainly have a few that lack any common sense for other road users ! Your driver pulled out of a T junction by your yard on the busy A38 ( which BTW they should be giving way to all traffic coming from the right and left before emerging ) forcing me to pretty much make an emergency stop !! Lucky I missed the side of the trailer, I would also say that sticking a middle finger out the window isn't going to help matters.

ALSO DOWNTON TRANSPORT.
Located in a rural ish location, can be hard to find if you haven't pre planned. Especially as there is another newer location of the same company a few miles away so if you collecting from the Morton Valence depot make sure you are going to the right one. There are buses that pass through Moreton Valence and 2 stops within easy walking distance.
The gate security are some of the most helpful I have ever met. I was escorted by security to the tractor unit I was collecting and asked if I needed anything else.
I completed my survey and followed the security guards directions for exiting the site. The whole experience was timely and pleasant. A Very Good Example to other companies on how yards should be run.

Another A38 user here, these lorries and their drivers are the bane of my commute. I could've come here 10 times to leave a one star already but last week a lorry pulled out on the Crosskeys roundabout and I had to slam my brakes on, which was the last straw. They have absolutely no regard for other traffic and very dangerous. The depot is a mile down the road, why are you risking peoples safety for the sake of waiting a few extra seconds?

LOST A STAR BECAUSE OF THE OLD BLOKE IN SECURITY.

Good tip here great staff helpful and polite, the only issue here is security, he is rude grumpy arrogant and just comes across as a horrible person. This is the first point of call just a bit of politeness wouldn’t go a miss.
