This branch is great, really helpful and understanding. Europcar in general isn’t a company with great policies. Trying to charge me an extra £200+ because the time and car i paid for on the website wasn’t available. There’s a reason people pay for the car and time slot that’s offered. Danny in particular was helpful and gave me a really good deal. A lot of respect for the team there, but the companies policies and regulations doesn’t make the process easy at all

I hired a ford transit for a couple of days. Everything went super smooth thanks to Dani! Dani was very friendly and helpful. He explained very patiently all the details of the hiring contract and insurance options. The drop-off was also very straight forward, again, thanks to Dani.

I will be using this branch again.

Poor customer service. Had to downgrade vehicles due to the fact they didn’t have the car available even though it allowed me to book the vehicle online. The vehicle had a strong smell of cigarettes that I had to endure during the period of rental. The car also did not have any windscreen washer fluid which I had to fill myself l. I have since returned the vehicle over 72 hours ago and they said they would be in contact about my deposit and the money they owed me due to downgrading. I have had no contact since

Booked 3 different times within space of 3month no problems. Booked again last night for a pick up at 10:30, branch phoned me to tell me they had no cars until 1pm then ironically they phoned me back before 1pm to tell me I had failed the credit check and they was unable to provide me a car. Then told me I would have to wait 5 working days to get my money back.

Look out for an 'upgrade' offer when you go to collect your hire car.
We ordered a petrol car and ended up with a hybrid with a malfunctioning gps. Phone support is diabolical.

Worst possible experience, I I booked a compact car for 20 days and they provided me an economy car instead of a compact car which was originally booked. They said I will get the car after two or three days upon 10 of phone calls and numerous emails my car was not changed to compact car and then I finally decided to show up to the Sheffield branch drove all the way from Birmingham and they had the audacity to charge me an extra £120 for giving me the compact car that I originally booked. I mean it’s just a horrible experience overall
