Erna Low Travel - Cheadle

My family travelled with Erna Low a few years ago. Our kids loved getting a last ski in before end of season. The Erna Low team was fantastic helping with all the arrangements. Wish we could do it again with them every year.

Requested Details: We traveled to Val Thorens on the 14th and experienced significant delays with the transfer arranged by Erna Low using Alpine Fleet. Despite being told the wait at the airport would be an hour, we ended up waiting for three hours—two hours longer than expected. Meanwhile, all our friends who booked with Ben's Bus had already reached the hotel and checked in.

We were stuck in the airport with our 4-year-old on our lap, and after the prolonged wait, we were taken outside to board the bus, only to see another 30 minutes of waiting outside. This delay caused further complications: our hotel room was given to another family, leaving us to sit in the lobby for three additional hours with our child before we could finally check in.

I reported this issue to Erna Low on the 14th and requested a change to a different transfer company at least for return after seeing numerous negative reviews for Alpine Fleet on Google (which, should have been a red flag for Erna Low anyway). However, I was told that the transfer manager would be contacted and someone would get back to me. No follow-up happened. When I called a few days later, I was informed it was too late to make any changes.

Ultimately, I feel that booking through Erna Low offered no advantage or added value. The process was far from seamless, and it seemed that we simply paid a markup for a transfer ticket we could have purchased ourselves at a lower price. While the staff were polite and kind—hence the 2-star rating—this experience left much to be desired, and I see no reason to book through Erna Low again.

Just returned from a skiing holiday in France booked through Erna Low. Was a bit too late booking to secure my first choice apartment, but Erna Low helpfully recommended a suitable alternative. Support through the weeks from booking to travel was excellent. The location of the apartment couldn't have been better - right by the ski hire shop, the lift pass shop and the slopes. Would book through Erna Low again and am already thinking about next year's trip.

We have used Erna Lowe for several years to book our Ski holidays. Their knowledge is second to none, as is the quality of their service. This year, when probably working for next to no money, with an ever changing situation, constantly cancelling trips due to COVID restrictions, they still gave a 5 star level of service.

Being there to pick up the phone when I panicked as France changed rules, calming me down and helping me work though options. Then when France closed the border, cancelling everything and processing a refund in a timely fashion.

I seriously recommend them, and will remain a loyal customer for years to come.

We have used Erna Low for our ski trips for many years. They have been very helpful and understanding our requirements, even helped with ordering a special birthday cake (thank you Jane)! Unfortunately, with Covid, that particular trip did not happen but we had no problems in obtaining a refund.
Their price has always been competitive with booking direct and we would prefer to speak with Kathleen or one of her team to make our bookings.
We look forward to the next ski trip! We can't wait!

Have often used Erna Low to arrange our ski holidays and they have always been very professional and good value. This year they have surpassed themselves in what must be horrendous circumstances for all travel agents. Last year our ski trip was cancelled and Erna Low transferred it to this year 2021 for us with no hassle. Now this has again been cancelled Erna Low have been very proactive in telling us that it has been cancelled and arranging the refund. Well done Erna Low. Will certainly travel with them again hopefully in 2022!

We had an amazing family holiday in Tignes at the le Telemark Residence in March. We had great snow, the sun shone and the Residence was amazing with first class facilities!!
We really want to thank the Erna Low Team for their help and super efforts at such a difficult time with all the problems Covid posed for arranging holidays.We were originally intending to travel in January and the Erna Low team worked so hard in offering us the opportunity to wait until just before travel in case France opened its borders again or a refund and re-book later in the year, as we chose to do.
They kept us informed throughout and could not have been more helpful.
Everyone was brilliant but a special thanks to Kathleen for her help.

The accommodation was fabulous, the travel arrangements worked out superbly, so good to have everything organised, we just turned up!
