We did the beach trek today and had a wonderful time! Our guide was kind and knowledgeable, and the horses were well behaved, well cared for, and perfectly matched for our individual levels of riding. The scenery was stunning - absolutely gorgeous! Riding on the beach was a bucket-list item of mine, and I don't think I could've picked a better place with which to cross it off. Equus was perfect!

Kind and patient boss lady, she explained us foreigners well via e-mail and responded quickly. Great horse ride with two lovely ladies who were very helpful and communicated well. Only downside was the bank transfer for the advance to secure the booking, we might prefer doing a credit card payment online or another way (because the bank charges quite a lot for An international transfer from EUR to GBP). But we were happy to pay for that and it was still not that expensive. Thanks!

I had a very nice beach ride, Lucy was a super kind and professional guide. We had several beautiful canters and thank you so much for giving me such a nice horse. Honey was fresh and forward going and well ridden.

Equus riding are absolutely amazing, I highly recommend doing a trek with them!
I was a bit of a last minute booking as I was travelling through. They couldn't have been more helpful or accommodating.
We did a 2hr beach trek which included riding through Roseisle woodland and then onto Burghead/Roseisle beach. The Woodlands was pretty and even glimpsed a red squirrel but the beach was just stunning! It was a very windy day and my horse Smithie was a perfect angel, didn't put a foot wrong and we had a fabulous time! Lucy was a fantastic guide and fun to ride with. You can tell the horses are happy and are well cared for and loved. I would book again but wish I could take Smithie back home with me on the plane! Thank you! ❤️🐎

My daughter was booked for a beach hack as a birthday treat. She had a brilliant experience. She was riding a beautiful Cob called Nessa, which delighted her as she loves a Cob! The horses are well cared for, and the leader, Zoe, was absolutely lovely (and very complimentary about my daughter's riding skills). We had a lovely walk down to the beach to watch them canter many times up and down the sands and through the water. As a photographer, I was delighted to get the opportunity to capture the moment. Many thanks for the brilliant hacking, and we will be sure to book again with you soon!

What a fantastic experience! Stunning trek through the woods with lovely views and a very experienced and kind guide. Definitely recommend if you are looking for new couple activities or want to get into riding 😊

This was an enormous highlight of my trip to Scotland. Elizabeth was SO fantastic to ride with, and the fact that she could balance riding her own horse whilst videoing me was just impressive. The whole experience from the staff and horses to the dogs was absolutely amazing. I would 100% recommend and would love to come back some day!

Had an absolutely fab day, went on my own to ride the 2 hours beach hack, I had messaged my previous experience (walk,trott,canter,gallop and jump + got my own horse) and they matched me with a lovely forward going horse and experienced leader, went out just the two of us and it was amazing! Went for canter through the woods and on the beach. The staff are really lovely at Equus and can't fault them. Our ride was mostly in the rain but it did not put us off from going on a long lovely hack! I will come back soon/Maria
