The Scottish Equestrian Centre is so welcoming and runs like clockwork. I so enjoyed our host Maureen, a lovely lady, whose passion shows in the management of the Centre, selection of horses & riding staff. She never failed to discuss my daily goals and desires to make sure each day was a good ride. My room was lovely, clean & very comfortable, the food plentiful and delicious and the variety of horses I was able to ride, whether for lessons or trail, were well trained, well cared for and well mannered. Paul, Emma, Sandra and the rest of the staff are so knowledgeable in instruction, whether over fences or flat work and communicated instruction so well. The trails and amount of land at their disposal for riding is amazing, well kept and breathtaking. I’m sure I’ll return for their Castles ride.

Visited Coloured Cobs Equestrian Centre for a week end experience.
So welcoming, excellent experience!
Wonderful staff and excellent teaching.
Horses are wonderfully cared for and safety is a priority for all. Beautiful countryside for hacking out, especially the 2 hour ride.
Hotel was lovely!
Thanks for your careful organisation. Wouldn't hesitate to use your services again.

Where to start? They delivered on every promise! Paramount to me, was the condition of the horses which was excellent, and they were bombproof. Secondly the riders were well matched. Perfect amount of walking, trotting, cantering. This was the Scottish castles ride Visited several authentic castles. Even though it was Peak tourist season, we were the only ones at each castle, which made it really special. Accommodations were Wonderful. Especially Sobo castle, where I was able to book a private yoga session after a long day’s ride. We road to several Apex elevations with stunning views. Eye candy all the way! Equally important was that the entire ownership and staff gave 100% and made us feel like family. When I requested additional information regarding the history of where we were riding, they accommodated and I learned so much about this exquisite country. I appreciate that the food was fresh and healthy. And the location was easy for my Uber Driver to find since I declined the airport transfers. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

Just off the back of a great 3 day riding holiday in Nottingham. It was amazing to have discovered a beautiful part of the world whilst riding as well! On our break between lessons, we could go through the peaceful and ancient Creswell Cregs park (5 min walk from stables), and a nice country walk from our spa hotel in the Sherwood Forest was the very church where Robin Hood and Maid Marian were married!

What an incredible 4 days riding we had in Iceland! The horses were fabulous, well behaved and forward going, and the guide was knowledgeable and good company. This experience has always been on my bucket list and it did not disappoint. The contact we had though Equestrian Escapes was super and they were able to find the answers to all our questions promptly. We will be looking for our next adventure very soon and I have no hesitation recommending them.

My cousin and I came for a ride and spa holiday for my 50th birthday at Cheshire (Willington Hall Riding Centre). The riding school was wonderful. The staff so lovely and the horses are beautiful. The stables are beautifully kept and the horses are so loved and cared for. We had 3 riding lessons and depending on riding ability, a hack out is available too. I rode the gorgeous gentleman Timmy and my cousin rode the beautiful Tulip. Our instructor Chris was so wonderful, patient and knowledgeable. She knew our level of riding straight away and pushed us to come out of our shells but also knew our limits. She was so lovely and thoughtful, taking photos for us, chatting and understanding any worries we had. The horses were just so amazing and beautiful. I cannot recommend this riding venue enough, nothing was a trouble, the staff were so friendly and kind and we had a magical experience that we will treasure forever. Thank you so much.

We had a wonderful time with Alfonso, his fantastic team and horses! Me and my daughter did things we had never imagined before, like flying changes, canter pirouette etc. The horses were all so well schooled and on top of that also super lovely, relaxed and great to be with. Both the dressage lessons and the hack in the surrounding area were such great experience!
