Booked an Electric Car, Got a Petrol One with Extra Fees for £65 for fuel per 1 day hire.

I booked an electric car online two days in advance. However, on the day of the hire, I was first charged for the electric car, but then provided with a petrol car instead. On top of that, I was charged an additional £65 for fuel — even though I had mentioned that I might not need it, as the booking was only for one day.

When I requested to cancel the booking, I was informed that the full amount (£160 for the car and £65 for fuel) was non-refundable. I was told that even if I didn’t take the car, I would still be charged the full £225.

This experience has been extremely disappointing. It feels like a deliberate tactic to attract customers with a lower price online, only to add unexpected charges later — effectively increasing the cost by at least £70–£80 per day.

Although the car was in good shape, the overall experience felt unfair and unsatisfactory.

This was my first time hiring with Enterprise, and based on this experience, I don’t plan on returning.

Came here last minute when I decided I wanted a courtesy car and everyone was really helpful and friendly from start to finish! They gave me plenty of option that would work best for me! They picked up the car from the garage too which was a last minute decision too.
The car was great and I’m very happy with my choice to go to this enterprise!
The staff are very welcoming and friendly and make you feel like you’re talking to a friend.

All staff very brilliant from collection to return. They made me feel very welcomed and gave me a fantastic SUV to a point where I wasn't looking forward to returning it. Very new, clean and drove beautifully.
Suzy was especially outstanding and I loved her bubbly personality. She was very approachable and really appreciated her chat with regards to what had happened to my previous car.
The definitely deserves a praise.

Awful customer service expect from one female manager who was decent at speaking. Some Staff were rude and aggressive. Will be putting a complaint in with the owner and the company.

Was shouted at and over and unable to speak when I raised an issue I had with them. And then refused service.

I have never been treated like this is any establishment. I’m very upset and feel very mistreated. Would not recommend this enterprise ever to ANYONE!

My husband rented a van for our moving on Sunday, the price is as cheap as normal working days,comparing other car rental company and the condition of the van is super, also have to mention the service they provided is brilliant. Highly recommended.
