We were stuck without a car last weekend so we decided to try Enterprise and it worked out really well.We went through everything with the lads the night before and then picked up our car (KIA) at 10.30 next morning. The cars are never older than three years so the reliability is there, really clean and full of fuel.

Efficient, friendly service. Enterprise, Shrewsbury provided me with a car whilst my car as in the garage. I was able to extend my rental period several times without issue. Drop off and pick up were seamless. Well done Enterprise!

The car was filthy on the outside when I came to collect it and had a weird looking stain on the passenger seat. As I drove it off the forecourt I braked and nothing happened. So I pushed the brake pedal in further and the brakes made a screeching metal on metal sound as the car eventually came to a halt. I was shocked by the vehicle's stopping distance but having been driving a Jaguar since the summer and an Audi before that I figured this is just how Fiat 500s are. Thankfully it was rush hour and I didn't exceed 5mph on my drive home which was a short distance away. I didn't drive the car since then because I'm extremely busy with work and the rental was just for emergencies while I wait for Furrows to fix my main car (a review that I'm really looking forward to writing). I took this cheeky little Fiat for a slow drive around my estate, this morning. I didn't exceed ten miles per hour because to do so would be dangerous. However, every time that I applied the brakes I noticed that the stopping distances were significantly impacted and the brakes made a screeching metal on metal sound. Additionally, the engine noise also sounds hoarse and clunky, like it hasn't consumed any oil in too long. The acceleration feels slow and laboured, like the engine is struggling to get enough air. This is a shame because the car's steering has a nice smooth feel to it, and with a bit of TLC I could image it being a tidy little run-around. I emailed Enterprise this morning but received an automated response. The automated response gave me a phone number. I called the number and a voice told me to call back within normal office hours. I would appreciate it if someone from Enterprise contacted me immediately to resolve this. In the meantime, enjoy your one-star.

Having previously had issues with enterprise car rental I was reluctant to use them again. Unfortunately they were the only local business to have the van I needed so booked a reservation for a van. Explained while booking that I had a bad experience before where the van I reserved wasn’t available on the day which made me very late. The assistant manager I spoke to, Brad assured me he would kindly come in early to get me away as quick as possible. I completed all the pre booking checks the day before on the phone to speed the collection. Brad never showed up in the morning so I ended up about 45 minutes behind the agreed collection. I also had an issue with the holding deposit refund previously which took nearly 2 months to return. Again 9 days since the rental return and Enterprise Car Rental again haven’t refunded this deposit. Same story when I speak to the branch that they have done it there end so it must be my bank or a head office issue.
Awful service.
Terrible business process and will never use them again. I’d advise check other rental companies within your area before using Enterprise for your car or van rentals.

I have thought alot about what to write on this review, im still angry so ill just stay factual.

Arrived to pick up a Luton tail lift van Thursday Morning, initially the member of staff was polite, helpful and knowledgeable but he then passed me on to a Lady that clearly had no idea what she was doing. I was able to check the outside of the van, but not able to look inside until it had been totally paid for and signed for.
Took 40 minutes for an online fully ID supplied booking to actually be able to get the key!
The van was dirty inside, with old coffee cups and bottles full of god knows what, steering wheel needed a clean before I would even touch it! Moving from one area doing 800 miles in 2 days the van started up okay, had some fuel in it so topped up tank and went on our way, 30 miles down the road the emergency Adblue light comes on and alarms start going off, rang them they reimbursed the cost of Adblue (but we had had to stop at a services for to sort it)... another 200 miles in and the brakes started feeling non reactive, and a few miles later an alarm starting going off stating brakes were warn and needed immediate service and attention, thankfully we completed the removal without too much more incident, but on returning the van the guy in the office apologised and said it obviously hadn't been checked before it was loaned to us and they will look into it. We did get a reimbursement for some of the rental and obviously the office people couldnt apologise enough, but honestly money doesn't make up for the danger they are putting customers in, by not maintaining the vehicles properly.

A brakes failure could have been catastrophic, especially with a Full load!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with this car rental company. They canceled my reservation late at night, right before the day I was supposed to pick up the car, leaving me stranded with no other options. To make matters worse, they said it would take an entire week to issue a refund. This level of service is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Avoid this car rental company at all costs!
