They rang me to confirm that I had been given a rental car whilst mine was at the garage for a repair. I visited them and they quickly sorted out the paperwork and was then given a brief rundown of the cars features. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly especially as I'd requested an automatic vehicle. I had to exchange this big car as my driveway was too narrow so they quickly rearranged for me to use a smaller manual car.

Awful experience with this company.

Firstly, the van I booked was not the van I got. Which wasn't a problem in and of itself, but the vehicle clearly had signs of wear and tear, all of which, I was assured, had been inventoried. Obviously they had not as the member of staff who served me didn't even know that the van didn't lock. Something I had to find out myself, too late when it was already full and ready to move my stuff 233 miles!
Luckily I had a secure carpark in which to park it when I arrived at my new address. Had that not been the case then I might be putting forward a more serious complaint than just a few defects they claim to have found on the vehicle upon its return.
I have been refused the return of my deposit on the grounds of the van not locking, a missing reflector and a cracked mirror. All of which were part of the vans condition when I picked it up. When I disputed this I was told that there was nothing that could be done till Tuesday, leaving me short of money over the bank holiday weekend, all because the member of staff told me that the wear and tear had been inventoried when it obviously hadn't.
I took out the extra and roadside protections that I was offered as add-ons, so clearly I have entered into this thinking it best to be cautious. I drove under the speed limit and with plenty of room given to other vehicles on all sides throughout the whole 5.5 hour journey. And, as previously mentioned, parked the van in a secure carpark over night.
I have done nothing to warrant the unjust holding of my deposit and am left with the impression that this company, reputable as it maybe be, is very much out to take your money wherever they can get it.
Needless to say, I'm very unsatisfied and will not be using their services again. I would not recommend Enterprise to other people either.

Hi I reserved a 7 seater car from today for 7 days all was good until I had a call from the people at enterprise telling me that I can't have the car I needed because the last person who had the car broke it

I asked if they had anything else around because that's our holiday ruined so they came back to me saying that they have a mini van but they want £500 deposit but the other car i reserved was only £200 i don't see why they couldn't let me have the mini van for £200 deposit when it's not my fault now my kids are emotionally disappointed well done enterprise

Superb customer service, the insurance courtesy cars I had weren't the best but the the guys there we great; Helpful, friendly, funny and profesional. If you haven't used a car hire company before these guys will help you every step of the way.
